****Official July 2021 Thread****

My family of seven (including 5 teenagers, pray for us) are booked for July 7-17. We are staying offsite (did I mention we have 5 teenagers?) at Calabay Parc. We are exclusively summer travelers, and did our last trip the first week of July in 2017. A lot has changed since then! Can't wait!

If they are 5 female teenagers, then I am immediately praying for you. 🤣

Finally was able to trade in with RCI to get a 1 bedroom at SSR for our trip in July. Please add us to the list :). It will be me and my DD 21. My DD was supposed to start the DCP in May of last year and of course we know how that turned out. The girl that was supposed to be her roommate will be flying in and joining us on this trip. They have remained in contact but have never actually got to meet in person so both are extremely excited to finally be at Disney World together.

July 21 - July 23 - Royal Pacific Resort at Universal
July 23 - July 25- Yacht Club (hoping the summer discount will come out)
July 25 - July 31 - SSR

We love SSR but haven't stayed in one of the refurbished villas yet. Hoping we will get one this trip. Haven't stayed at Yacht Club before so excited to try it out.

Well my July Friends, another source of Disney info (one with a "focus" on "food") posted that Disney has announced they're opening up applications for CMs for Attractions, Custodial, Merch and QS, both parks and resorts. Between this and the announcement that BWI is taking reservations starting July 2 I believe (YMMV) means we can expect an increase in capacity. I assumed this would happen and I'm fine with it as long as they increase proportionate QS and perhaps TS offerings as well. As in, if you're going to fill BWI, Disney, could you maybe consider re-opening the restaurants in that building??? KTHXBAI. :teeth:

Why yes, I do have a vested interest in convenient food locales at BWI. The prospect of rooming with two teenage boys as they complain about how they are STARVING. TO. DEATH. is not, I say NOT magical. :rotfl:

In the meantime...

We switched from WL to BWI for our July trip! Super pumped as I’ve never stayed there!
So happy for you! Boardwalk is my all time favorite! We stayed there last 2 trips but staying at CBR this time for some variety. I was really tempted to switch when I saw it became available! Can’t beat the location and walking to 2 parks... heavenly. Enjoy!!!

Hello, joining in for July planning. Our last 3 trips (2017, 2018 and 2019) have been in August; but my son's soccer club is doing a summer camp in Orlando and we decided to go down a week before it starts for some Disney time. We're arriving July 9 and leaving (for his camp) on the 15th. His camp ends on the 18th. Our flight home is on the 19th (so much cheaper to fly on Mondays than Sundays) so we will go back for one more night, just for some relaxation and pool time before heading back to reality.

We're staying at Art of Animation and I'm so excited. We have not stayed there before. My daughter is a budding artist and finishing high school next month. For the night before we leave I haven't decided yet if we will return there or stay elsewhere.
