I got a free dining pin code in the mail today! Not sure if I'll use it, depends on my job at the time. It's good random dates from the end of Aug to early December. Now if only I got it for July!

I'm starting to wonder why we haven't seen any Mickey Mail yet? I might have to check on that. We are at 33 days tomorrow!

I understand, just after driving so many times and then flying, I just don't think I could drive anymore. It was really long. You are a very nice dad to want Midori and Lucy to be together.


Are flights just too expensive now for them?

Yes and also the flight we were booked on has no availability. The only flights we all could travel together on, the times are so inconvenient and the price has almost doubled.

Midori is more upset about not being able to fly than I am. I can adjust to just about any obstacle set in front of me. I think I am going to enjoy watching Lucy and Midori have the time of their life together more than the parks itself.

I completely understand how Midori must feel. After years of flying, we have to take to the roads again this summer. We're heading down with DD, and DGS age 6. DD is terrified of flying! I am not exactly looking forward to the looooong trek down I 95, after being spoiled with a 3 hour flight. Not to mention the trip home is always painful; but you gotta do what you gotta do! At least I can stop for some Georgia peaches. How good of you to rearrange your travel plans to keep the girls together.

39 days!! I cannot believe we made it to the thirties!!! The girls had their last day of school yesterday and are counting down the days till Disney. Good thing June is full of soccer games and slumber parties with friends, it will make the next 39 days go by fast! Plus a bonus vacation for the girls up north camping with the grandparents the week before our Disney vacaction!!

I wish we lived as close as you. If you think Maryland is a long ride try from MA. I am dreading it a little (it's the second day that gets you) but we need to bring our dog. I wasn't putting him on a plane!!

It is all worth it in the end! 23 more days!!!!

Friday, I will get off work around 4pm, we'll get on the rode by 6pm, drive straight through and get to the resort by 11:00am Saturday.

5.5 more days of work. I am so ready for summer. This has been a challenging year. The students have been ok, but with my mom passing away things have been relatively hard. I am been running back and forth between home and her house on the weekends trying to take care of things. Geez, it's been tiring. I need to relax.

Hearing how everyone's got their Mickey Mail is making me anxious. I know with a travel agent it take longer. My whole philosophy for this vacation is no stress so hopefully I can start practicing that now.

I got the custom autograph book I ordered for my cousin off of Etsy! Its so great looking! I like it so much I may order one for me... but is that weird? A 22 year old with an autograph book? Still not sure.

I have had some travel plan changes too!!
We changed out flights to an earlier one for $1 more per person!! I'm so excited about getting there earlier, getting the kids to bed at a decent time, and having time to stop for diapers and snacks for the week. Diapers and wipes can take up a lot of precious luggage space. I know my darling sister (ddluvsdisney) would have bought them for me ahead of time but I didn't want to have to bother her for one more thing.
We changed up our itinerary too hopefully for the last time
My older wiser sister suggested we get more parks done at the beginning of our trip. When we get there the kids will be raring to go and the adults won't be tired until the end of the week. We have lots of "off" days to explore resorts, DTD, and outlet shopping.

Oh! ONE more thing Disney trip related I did today (that I have never done before)...

I own a small business and posted a sign that we will be closed July 14th - July 21st EEEEEEKKKK!!!
The office will be up and running for the first three and last two days that I am away.
I told all the therapists months ago so they could prepare and plan. They are just as excited. Some are planning get a ways and others are having family visit from other parts of the country. Most work at other locations so they may still work part time during the week. I have never taken a trip and not worry about business or received a phone call or email. This will be such a treat for me. I finally will be able to kick back and RELAX!! with nothing but my family and fun on my mind.
