*****OFFICIAL July 2012 Thread! Feelin' HOT HOT HOT!

Is it just me, I made all these plans and ADRs at the 180 day mark without making any changes until the past week or so... but the question is... is anyone else making last minute changes to their plans? The last two weeks, I've changed my days around, changed ADRs, but, this week I've been having trouble moving ADRs around... just getting too close.

I thought I was happy with the original plan and never thought I'd have so many changes! AND, now, my DS wants to add LEGOLAND! :scared1: Even with 9 days, I can't seem to fit everything in, and we are not doing nearly everything. But, I'll work it in somehow, even if we have to commando style a couple of days! :cool1: Just hope DS doesn't add anymore... DGD wants to do Cat In The Hat, so I managed to squeeze this in... I could easily use two more days!

Anxiously awaitng my Mickey Mail.... soon I hope!

I gotta run and look over my plans and see how to best squeeze in legoland :surfweb:

Cinderella... I've changed ADRs a few times recently too. Seems as it gets closer, what we want changes.

I've decided that my daughter has plenty of clothes to pack a weeks worth and still make it the next 3 weeks. If I pack now it'll seem like we're leaving soon, right?

Your right, we are 3/4's packed. :dance3:I have had the suitcases on the bed in the spare bedroom for 2 months and started packing a month ago.:rotfl:

I actually went to college at St. Vincent. My husband used to work in downtown Greeensburg :goodvibes

I'm getting so excited I can barely stand it! I'm looking forward to POFQ so much (I hope I'm not let down!) - it was my husband's pick. Maybe we'll pass somewhere on our overlap day.

You will LOVE POFQ! It is my favorite onsite resort and just perfect for an anniversary!

I haven't changed anything in months, but last week when I started to review our plans I also found that need to change things. I just couldn't believe the amount of ADRs still available. Thought it would be much more limited.

I love that you share the same "packing" logic as me. :lmao:

The suitcases are out and ready to be filled. DH doesn't get that he will just have to wear his older clothes, you know the ones that he wore on previous Disney trips and can be seen in all our pictures. But noooooo, he wants to wear all the new ones which makes it hard to pack.

Does anyone else plan their Disney outfits before they arrive? Also, do you find yourself at a clothing store and see something and think: "That shirt is so World Showcase." Then, of course, you have to buy it! Haha :rotfl2:

Yes, I do plan our daily wear and also I safety pin a tag with the dates on them. Yes - it's crazy but I am so ready for Disney. I have been wearing the same shirts I purchase 10 years ago just for Disney. I have 5 that I only wear for Disney. NOW my DD 12 since she is growning - she get's new clothes. DD asks me every year, "Are you going to wear the same shirts DAD???" I laugh and reply yes DD. I have 11 years of video's and pictures and I have the same shirts on every year. The shirt I wear on the plane shown on our signature will be the same one I wear on the plane this year. :dance3:

My DH wore is Yoda shirt the other day and I asked him if he was going to wear that when we go to HS. He replied that he also has his Boba Fett shirt he can wear. I told him we are going at least twice so he can wear them both. Other people would probably think we're crazy. Lol!

I use zip lock bags for DD's clothes (I did for both kids the last 2 times we went too) and dated them with a sharpie. :rotfl:

I even went as far as buying a boutique dress for DD in 09 just for (at the time it was still called) Hollywood Studios! I SOOOOO wish it still fit her! She's such a peanut, it still fits her body but it's entirely too short now!

Yes, we plan our clothes, too. I try to compliment colors for our family. This trip will only be my DD7 and me so a lot easier!

But even with the 4 of us, we wear the same color. Makes photos look great and easier to find everyone.:thumbsup2

I haven't started packing yet officially but am putting things away in a pile for our trip.

We just went through our "stuff" box and got the tote ready for the trip; hamper, light sticks, fans, sunscreen, power strip; that kind of stuff I mean.

We plan on wearing matching shirts! We are some of those people!

I know! I had to tweak a couple ADRs and there was plenty of availability. Couldn't believe how easy it was. Of course, they were only Via Napoli and Kona, not like I was trying to change a castle meal or Chef Mickey's or something more popular...but still, I thought things would fill up faster in the middle of the summer. And I think they offered free dining for this time period too?? Weird, but I'm glad :)

Hi everyone!!

We are last minute planners.:rolleyes1 We just decided to go to WDW. I feel like Im rushing around trying to figure everything out. To top it off its our first time. We are also doing a road trip on the way there. We just moved back to the mainland from Hawaii so we are visiting all our families on the way there.

We have Breakfast planned on the 17th at Ohana. My dog is booked for the last day at the doggie day care. Still have to book our room at the La Quinta.

Ive not got any bags out yet to pack. I feel kind of behind seeing as how some of you have had your stuff out since March. But I feel like I have to pack seperate for Disney from our regular trip. A special Disney wardrobe is in the making for all of us! Im going to feel like a chicken with my head cut off here soon!!:scared1:

I was able to get an 8:05 spot at Crystal Palace around mid-May. I was really surprised.

I just made a lunch ADR for Crystal Palace yesterday for our aunt, uncle, cousin, and DMIL. I was surprised there was availability with about a month to go. :thumbsup2
