Someone should start the POST JULY TRIP thread for people start getting home in another week or so....they can post about their trips.

I just wanted to say that I've really been enjoying this thread ever since I subscribed! All of you have been so nice, and it's a lot of fun counting down all of our trips together! I feel like we have talked about so much...from resorts & ADRs to exercising, to bad backs, to children, to NY bagels and pizza...and it continues! Thanks to everyone for making the countdown even more exciting than before!

OK...now...how excited is everyone that tomorrow it will officially be JULY?!!!

I know!! We've become this wonderful July Loving Family! Now we need to keep it up after our trips are done. Since many of us are teachers, chances are that we'll have TONS to share in about 2 months and most likely many of us will normally travel at this same time next year too Oh, and I am SO EXCITED that tomorrow is July!!

Thanks! I asked DH if it is on his list. He said,"I don't have a list." I replied,
"Do you want me to make one?"

Also, I need to make a list for my kitty/ house sitter!

I said the SAME thing to my DH I like lists

YES, great idea!!!!

I know!! We've become this wonderful July Loving Family! Now we need to keep it up after our trips are done. Hey peeps.......which night is normally DHS PM EMH? I can't remember. I've been checking the Disney site for months now, and our week (July 18-24) has NO PM EMH at DHS at all The only night we won't be there is a Saturday. Is that their only night for it?

That's the week I'll be there, and I kind of feel stupid that I have only been checking the park hours on THIS site and not double checking them with the Disney site. THIS stite has a DHS PM EMH, guess they are wrong

I'm heading to the Disney site now to see what else is wrong.

Wow, everyone is so busy - I love it!!! Quick driving rant - I'm in the turn lane and there's like 20 cars approaching, this guy behind me in a big red pickup truck starts honking his horn for me to move into the intersection. It's a really quick light and there is no way I'm going to do that. I can see he's getting agitated behind me, waving his arms and honking his horn. What the heck? Of course the light turned yellow then red before the 20 cars got through. Idiot! Then further down the road he runs right through a red light and almost gets hit!!! ARGH!

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled countdown excitement!!!

Yes! I have been checking the Disney site every two weeks and the park hours keep changing, so definitely go check

Thanks! During our week there are NO Wednesday PM EMHs listed for any park, so that's what I was figuring, but I've been checking for the past month and it still says nothing

Happy Almost *July* Everyone!!!

I am really hoping the BB offer is for next summer, but I figure it will still be for dates through the end of the year. Yes, I don't go on this trip for 3 weeks and I am already wanting to plan for next year!

Yeah, I was so angry when I came home I updated my Facebook status with this: "To the idiot behind me at the intersection in Barre in the turning lane and who kept honking at me to pull into said intersection then proceeded to run a red light further down the road: you'd better hope to God that WHEN you get into an accident you don't take out any of my people, or I will own you."

I'm usually a pretty mild-mannered person (teacher and all that) so a ton of my Facebook friends commented with all sorts of great comments! My students were like "Yeah, you go Mrs. Jarchow!!!"

The only night there is a EMH at night for DHS is the 24th while you are there.

Okay...for those of us leaving tomorrow (or in the next few days) can we please just look at this forecast?!?!?! Aside from the scattered storms, which are to be expected, the high temps are WAY below what I thought they would be. 85 on Fri! 86 on Sat and Sun!!! Unbelievable!

Three hours and counting till we leave the house! Two bags completely packed and zipped. Only suitcase left is DH and he is still working - from home - he will finish his stuff when he stops working at 4:00pm. That will give us two hours to get everything in the car and ready to go.
I have decided that I do not like leaving late! It has been horrible anticipation all day. I am getting more and more antsy as the minutes go by. On the positive side - I have managed to book my DS birthday party, make and order the invites and also get a photobook squared away on Shutterfly - plus ordered. Today was the last day for free shipping and photobooks are 20% off till July 6th! Lots of nervous energy to burn.
What am doing right now? Playing with Disney Luggage tags! energy to burn!!!

I LOVE that weather forecast! And don't fall for that--you know it's just his way of avoiding the work--trust me, I've been married 19 years (as of July 20, anyway) and I've heard that one before!

My sister was too. The lady was furious with my sister (who was the 3rd person in line at the light) and said, "WELL, the light was green!" Like how totally stupid of a defense can you have that you see a green light and just go, with no regard to stopped cars in front of you!

OK, just compared the Disney sie to this site for park hours, and there were 3 differences in park closing times. Now where do I check on the Disney site for Firework / Parade schedules? Are they usually the same as on here?
