I figured Ohio is close enough to PA so I don't feel lonely.

My grandmother grew up in Ottawa, and I have tons of relatives there...we will be visiting them in Ottawa later in the summer...does that count?

I was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary but we were transferred to Texas 3 years ago for work. We love it down here but I miss home a lot.

We are forgoing a trip home this summer to hang in WDW instead... We are getting pretty excited!

I let my 8 and 5 year old watch the planning DVD the other day to give them some motivation to " straighten up and fly right". We have a new code word around the house - when someone is behaving in an inappropriate way I just say ' Disney" and they stop right away or else risk the chance of losing some privileges once we get to the parks. Worked well so far but we have a couple of months to go before we arrive... lol.

We will.
Two years ago the Magic Kingdom was open until 4:00AM for resort guests. Thats usually a tradition for us to do but its only open until 1AM.

Its pretty crowded. I would get a spot at least an hour or a half hour before the fireworks start. It hasnt closed to incoming guests the years we have been there but on the day of the 4th some parks do close because they are full. We usually do EPCOT in the AM and go back to the pool until dinner time then go to EPCOT for fireworks.

Ok, when I see that I have less than 100 days, my first bit of panic kicked in!

I still have so much stuff I want to do to get ready for the trip. What happened to that "LULL" I was saying a week ago or so?!

OK -- priority for this week: start making little goodie bags (activities, small toys, snacks, instructions for travel games, etc) for the drive down to FL and back ... I plan to give them out every "xx" many miles.

We're at the Boardwalk in a standard room. If I change it to the 40% pin, I could upgrade us to water view for a very minimal cost. Do you think that would be worth it? I think it would be pretty cool to have a Boardwalk view!

Wooooo!! I'm at 100 days!!

Exactly 100 days from right now I will finally be back at the Magic Kingdom. Wearing my ears. Probably riding Big Thunder or Splash Mt. Waiting for our room to be ready at the Polynesian. It's been a loooooong year, and I cannot wait to get back!

omg you guys got me all pumped up - I was like "hey maybe I'm getting close to 100" - listening to all the countdowns - holy cow! I will be there in 98 days!!!!

98 days from now I will be... well, sitting the car driving! But 98 days from TONIGHT, I will be hanging out with Chip n Dale and getting ready to watch a Disney movie outside and have a snack and frosty beverage from the Chuck Wagon! Or maybe I'll be so full from my Trail's End dinner buffet that I won't need a snack. Will def have the beverage tho!



Marshay - I love the goodie bag idea - I'm going to make a couple for DD
