I have always wanted to try Akerhus, but we have not yet done it. We are there for 2 weeks too - I am so looking forward to it!

we LOVED it - not sure if we enjoyed the meal (i don't remember it lol) but dd LOVED the interaction with the Princesses.

I should probably just schedule DD and I for it sometime - DH and DS are one of the reasons we have not yet done it - they are not into the princess part LOL!!!

I can't wait until I take DD to a princess meal - will probably wait until she is 4 or 5. This being our first trip, and she is only 2, we'll skip it this time. They always look so fun in the pictures, though!

I was so excited yesterday about being less than 100 days out!
Now I'm freakin a little - isn't there something I could be doing right now?

I do have a few weeks of summer break before we go, so I will have lots of time then! I think I just WANT to be doing something!!!

We really enjoyed the characters at Akershus (went for dinner). Although they were really busy, it seemed like every 5 mintues another princess was coming through. We were seated in the turret section, so it was a little out of the way and everyone seated there really could see the princesses well.

My dd was 3 years old at the time and she loved it!! We dressed her in a princess dress (not disney but still cute) and tiara and the pics were great!

To book it, you need to call Disney Dining. I think it might be tight with your ADR at 6:50pm because it opens at 9pm. Also, it is an all you can eat dessert buffet so that might be a lot of food for one night - if it were me, I would want to sample everything and I would be afraid that after a big meal I couldn't
