Tink, thanks for the showers reminder- I will work that into the plan...my daughters are very excited about Stormalong Bay. We orginally had BCV booked for 5 days and AKV for the last 5 which seemed perfect to me. I don't forsee much relaxing at Stormalong Bay, and thought that we could relax at AKV. Because we had to switch our vacation week, we are now starting at AKV. No complaints though b/c I am so excited that we were still able to book both resorts.
I need some input from my July experts on the two different philosophies: Is it better to be at the pool from ~1 - 4 or in the parks (ignoring weather circumstances). We are early morning people. Do you think that the park crowds really lessen after lunch? Do enough people leave for a break to make a difference?
I do not think the crowds lessen at all. They increase significantly from 11am on until later in the day. We do mornings in the park, stay until 12-1pm and then head back for a swim, lunch(if we didn't eat in the park) and a rest or tour of the resort. We head back in the evenings with leftover FP's and enjoy evening entertainment.
It seems like a lot of us will be at Epcot on July 4th - I am wondering if we could do a Dis meet sometime that day? Maybe at the kiosk in France for the Orange Grand Marnier Slushies?!!
Oh, how tempting! We hadn't planned to be in Epcot on the 4th, but I can dream I'm with ya'll enjoying my favorite drink in The World! mmmmm!
