SRUalmn: That is too funny, but probably what my husband would do too. He bought a Toy Story 3 video game so that he could "play and bond" with our 3 year old. He plays it more by himself.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!I bet he is so much fun to be around!! This is truely what Disney is about!!!

Thanks guys, he doesn't need any more encouragement! He really is so much fun to be around, but sometimes it gets to be just a little 'annoying.' I love it when we're in Disney, though.

Ok I'm a little freaked out right now. I currently have tech support for the WDW website on the phone (still couldnt do online check in) and she has now called Guest Services I have my itinerary and my DME paperwork so I know I'm good to go. She says though that my pc and their system for some reason aren't communicating. It shouldnt affect my check in so long as I have the paperwork they sent in the mail (it's ready to go in my carry on).

I love love love my furbaby and hate that he cant go have fun at the House of Mouse with me and my kiddo's. I know my friend will take good care of him but he wont have anyone to cuddle with at night or to throw his mice for him to play catch in the evenings like he enjoys.

Hello from animal kingdom lodge! It is hot hot hot here todaay we did epcot and it was not too crowded fit everything in plus a wonderful early dinner ar cananda! Drank our way round the world an now it's naptime. I have blisters on the bottom of my feet and a rash on my legs cause my shorts were too short. I'm in pain but it's magic kingdom tonite for extra magic hours so gotta figure someway to fix it. For now nap time!!

We have 3 dogs, and our neighbors will be checking in on them daily. I worry because our Westie is recovering from a pretty bad skin issue. I'm hoping that she'll be better by the time we leave in two weeks. Right now she's on antibiotics and steriods.

I'm glad that you are having fun, but sorry about the rash. Aloe or some hydrocortisone cream usually does the trick to sooth the irritation. I hope you enjoy MK tonight.

I am going to be canceling our ADR for Sunday's (July 11) Crystal Palace breakfast at 8:15. I will call this afternoon. PM me for the exact time I'm calling if you are interested!

AKA Disney Stress...that is what we call it here in my house. I will be in FULL DISNEY STRESS MODE TOMORROW SINCE WE LEAVE ON SUNDAY. But if I am going to be stressed... THIS IS THE BEST STRESS TO HAVE.

Oh hope you pup is better by the time you leave. We are boarding our two dogs. We have a new one... a 9 month old dachshund that we got at 4 1/2 months and our other dog is 9. She is used to be boarded but Lily will probably be SAD. She is such a little princess puppy and loves to be held and played with. The place we use is VERY NICE. It will cost us over 900 for the 16 days. I still hate leaving them but they have an amazing place so I know they are safe and well taken care of.

We are leaving our three kittens (just turned a year on Monday.) I have two friends coming to house and kitty sit. At least it gives us something to come home to!

I think I am all packed except for the cooler. Everyone's driving attire is piled for Sunday's drive. DH works tomorrow - USPS still has Saturday delivery. The girls and I have the housesitters coming at 10 to go over everything and we have a wedding at 2:30 and reception from 5 to 11. I imagine we will bail the reception by 10 (about an hours drive).

Yes! We did it on July 3 last year and we're doing it again on July 19 this year (wanted the 18th, but it was booked ) When we did it last year it was cheaper, but it was also new and there were a few things that didn't work well, mainly, the abundance of chocolate and heat in conjunction. However, being that it was July 3 and the park was MOBBED, that in and of itself, was worth the $$. I debated for a long time if it would be worth the money to do again (especially now that it costs more,) but they now have a glass cooler buffet for the desserts so they will hold up better, and it's just a nice special thing for us to do together, so we booked it. Sorry to be long winded and not really have an 'answer' for you, but if you love treats and want a new and unique experience, I say do it QUOTE]

We were planning on doing this for part of my mom's birthday celebration - is the location on the second floor or first floor and is it air conditioned at all? How many people does this place hold and is it a hassle to find a spot to watch either the parade or the fireworks? How was the desserts?? See....you were not long winded at all

I am so glad to know that others feel the same way about leaving their pet.....I hated leaving my yorkie when we would go away. He passed away in November and we got another yorkie, Trixie, a few months ago. This will be our first time ever being away from her and I so don't want to leave her. My good friend and her family are watching her so I know she will get lots and lots of love and attention, but I still worry..... I am relieved to hear that I am not the only one on this planet that loves and worries about their furbaby when going on vacation.
