Ok, let's talk wardrobe...
I'm trying to figure out what to pack and what will be coolest. For religious reasons, I don't wear sleeveless tops/tank tops or shorter shorts or skirts (Bermuda shorts are fine, skirts/dresses that hit an inch or two above the knee are fine). In the summer here in Georgia, I find myself most comfortable in lightweight skirts (the breezy, loose kind) and t-shirts, or lightweight shorts and a t-shirt. I have a few CoolMax shirts.
I'm trying to figure out what to pack...I have a few pairs of lightweight khaki shorts and bought a really cute, lightweight knit sundress (knee length) to wear over a fitted t-shirt. I've seen lots of people in the parks in dresses/skirts so I don't think it will be that crazy, right? I keep thinking about how much cooler it might be than shorts...
Would I be crazy to wear a casual sundress or skirt in the parks? I tend to be more comfy in skirts anyway, and I'm careful about how/where I sit in skirts, how I get up and down, etc...
What do you think?
If you would worry about the skirts with getting in and out of rides, you can try a skort or maybe putting a pair of shorts under them.
I found some very nice skorts online that I will be taking with me.
We have some casual dresses for dinner. I am going with coolmax shirts too. I am fair skinned so I like to cover as much as possible to minimize possible burns.

Yes, it's silly, but I just can't help myself!!!

However, I don't think that I will be able to drag my daughter on it again. She loved the ride until the 50 foot drop.
She even wrote about it at school this past year for their publishing project. So now she has immortalized her experience on SM's 50 ft. drop through her writings and drawing a picture that states "I'm going to die!"

, so then, if she can.. it'll be like an extra big dose of pixie dust for the trip!
