:upsidedow welcome

Myself, ds4, dd2, niece, grandma, and aunt are staying for 8 days at All Star Movies, this is our second trip as a family. I have reservations for BBB and pirates league for the kids. Fulton's crab house, Donalds Safari Breakfast at tuskerhouse, and the Wishes dessert party, all spread out evenly throughout the trip. August 3rd which is our "almost" lasty day there is my 26th birthday, so we are doing wishes dessert party that day:woohoo: . On the second day while we are at the magic kingdom, the disney florist is setting up an Mickey's Grand Welcome in room celebration for everyone!!! I got the original package with tons of addons so everyone in our group will get 32" Mickeys and Minnies, personalized blankets, personalized tote bags, pin starter sets, and mickey plush gloves. Figuring we all will share the rest of the package after that!!! I am really excited and have spent months planning for this trip!!! :wizard:Can't wait to see my kids' faces when they see the castle !!!!!princess::flower3:

Wecome you can find the list on page 3 post 39. I will try to get you added.

Welcome you are in the right place. Do you know where you will be staying? Lois

ok, I am now officially at the crazy "OMGitsonlyoneweekawayandIhavesomuchtodo" point in the vacation planning. LOL
My biggest issue is getting packed for 2 weeks away from home...knowing that we will have no car..so I can't just run out if I forget something. When I do a 2 week beach vacation I just shove everything in the car and off we go...this is different. I'm getting dressed.....

ARRGGG... I need a very large drink......
anyone else stressing???

I am right there with you. Could not have said it any better! Lois

Has anyone ever used the grocery delivery service down there (I can't remember the name of it)? I remember at least one person (Lois?) mentioning that they were using one...

I'm thinking that might be the best way to go rather than loading my parents' van with all of our breakfast food and snacks for 8 days...It would be worth it to me to pay a delivery fee and not have to stress about getting everything down there (particularly milk and perishables)...

Any information would be appreciated!

We still havnt gotten our disney mail :(
I guess we paid too late...

We ordered stuff from GardenGrocer. You have to order 50.00 and there is a 12.00 delivery fee. We have never tried thi so I do not know how well it is going to work. Only time well tell.

I am so excited! :goodvibes This is going to be my first trip with just DB & I and there's so much to get done. I can't believe it's almost here!!!

I would definitely call. I am staying at Pop, and they suggest faxing in requests like room requests a few days ahead. But for something like that, I would speak to someone directly and explain my situation.

I buckled, and ordered the slipper dessert for our CRT breakfast. I mean, it has strawberries, so that counts, right???

I am so excited over all the surprises on this trip - our Wishes Cruise, the Mickey in room Welcome from the florist, and this dessert. I hope the girls (and DH) are surprised and wrapped in magic the whole trip! The way I see it, the Wishes cruise is the 10th anniv. celebration we never took (I was 8 1/2 months preg.), the Mickey's Welcome is perfect for the girls first trip, and the dessert... just because!

How can I find out more about this?? It sounds interesting. We have an ADR for CRT breakfast as well.

I am stressing right along with you if it makes it any better. And I still have longer to go than you do! I decided yesterday that it would somehow be a good idea to start the search for the "perfect" park bag all over again. :scared: Keep in mind that I have already done this and purchased "the bag" months ago. But noooo, I wake up yesterday and the first thought that pops into my mind is that bag and all the reasons it won't work and I shouldn't have bought it. So here I am 16 days out and looking for a bag to carry into the parks. DH is really losing his patience at this point. Of course that didn't stop me from shopping today. :rotfl:

Started preliminary shopping for the trip, went a lil crazy at the store and bought 5 or 6 shirts without trying anything on.....AKA not a smart move....we are finishing up with our shopping tomorrow night, now I just need to go back to the store and exchange for smaller sizes in some, and larger in others....I'm busty so clothes tend to fit me weird....VERY frustrating.....the good news though is that we are only 13 days away from our reservations.... 10 days away from the wedding :scared1:

Here's to hoping I get it all done.....To those of you leaving in a couple of days...Have a blast and we wanna see pictures!
