OFFICIAL JULY 2009 THREAD!!! The wait is on!!!

My DS is 5 but he really isn't into Kim Possible but I thought he might enjoy this.

Yeah, I'm not sure if my DS has even seen an episode of Kim Possible (since it's not on anymore), but the spy aspect of it appeals to him.

We just got very bad news. The tests on Janet's mom don't hold out too much hope. We are going this weekend to visit and we don't know just when she will be called home for good. This is so hard being close to Mother's day.

Tomorrow they are going to try some procedure and if it works great. If it doesn't work she is only expected to live a number of weeks. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for all the prayers.

Its NOT on anymore??? I had no idea. I'm really looking forward to that experience. It'll be so much fun. We practically LIVE in World Showcase some days, so it'll be much fun to see it in a new light. And to see the interesting things that "pop" up. I know the girls DD7 and DN10 will love it!

I just booked Dh and I at Caribbean Beach Resort July 19th-24th. We are Finally over two years later going on our Honeymoon. I'm Very excited, but nervous only a little over 2 months to plan!

Welcome!! A couple of July tips for you -- plan to take a break each day at the hottest part of the day to relax, get in the air conditioning and cool off, etc. On our last trip we took a break from about 1-4 or 2-4 every day, back at the resort, to swim and cool off. It was a lifesaver and kept everyone very happy. Your ADRs will help with this because you'll be inside for a good break at meal times, but the resort breaks (getting away from the crowds) really help. Also, carry one of those mister fans with you -- those are great for a quick cool-down and feel really good when you're standing still in line in the sun (or a line where there isn't much air conditioning). Wear lightweight clothing -- the athletic shirts that breathe well are wonderful -- that's all my husband wears in the hot months here in the south because they're much cooloer than regular t-shirts and polo shirts. Also wear a hat -- I didn't on our last trip and I will for sure this time. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Welcome Disney Crazy Mamma!! My dear friend Eddie works at FW at the front desk. (he looks a bit like Paul McCartney). Say Hi!! We're going to check out the s'mores and Chip & Dale at the campfire at FW this time. We're having a breakfast at Cape May (we're going the 12th-19th). I don't know how old your children are, but the Hollywood & Vine is a great meal for them. A bit expensive if you're not on the dining plan though. Did you know that T-Rex has a website? My older kids love Teppan Edo
For a very refreshing break, the Dole whip shop near the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse is great!!
