My Dreams Unlimited TA is great! She was able to schedule in our ADRs as follows:

July 9 4:15 Fantasmic Package @ Brown Derby
July 10 2:00 Tea at the Grand Floridian
July 11 3:50 (late lunch) @ SciFi
July 13 5:50 dinner @ Wave

We are doing the CS plan as we didn't want to be too scheduled in - this is so exciting! :cool1:

I've added you to the ADR list on page 67. For some reason, I always make the 3:50 reservation for Sci-Fi too!

DH and I would have been happy to skip Fantasmic, but our girls said that was one of the things on their "must do" list...and so we'll be there...

But in exchange, DH told the girls that they have to do either Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, or RnR with him! We'll see...even if they don't, though...we'll still have to do Fantasmic!

Thanks Nikki! I'm glad to hear you book "late lunch" too! At first I thought maybe it was a little late but we have a lot of time that day to use CS for breakfast and some snacks too!

Thanks for doing the ADR list - and, you are planning a wedding at the same time?? :worship: To be young and energized!!

Haha! Well, luckily I have off this week so I've been able to get a lot of wedding stuff done. I'm printing my own invitations so that took up most of the past 2 days...and tomorrow I have a dress fitting! But doing this ADR list is fun for me!! I'm so glad we already have three people at the same place/same time!!

Our family will be there July 11-18th :cheer2:, we are staying at POFQ, this will be our first time staying there. I am a little nervous :scared: about it but I will be at Disney so all will be good :woohoo:. We are also bringing a friend of my DD's along for her first ever trip to Disney.......I just love bringing someone for the first time and watching their expressions to everything, it is like going for the first time all over again :cloud9:

We decided to skip Fantasmic also. We are meeting my BFF and her family at WDW and they want to see it, so it was really missing with our planning, especially since we were trying to plan without park hoppers. I finally realized Fantasmic was showing our last day there, so we can stay with my friends, head back home after lunch, and they can go see it.

Reading about everyone's ADR's is getting me all excited. Can't do mine until the 18th.:sad2:

We're not doing fantasmic either. My 4 year old is terrified of fireworks. So we skipped it last year and know it will be best to skip it this year too. Hopefully she'll brave up one of these years! I've never seen it and really want to!

Hot Hot Hot. If anyone is staying at the POP in July and not wanting to pay $10 a night for a fridge, there are a number of fridge swaps going on. Check us out on the budget board.

Reading about the park closings this week has me a little nervous (and thrilled beyond belief that we ended up NOT going to WDW this week as we had originally planned! :thumbsup2).

On our last trip (July 2007), the parks were definitely crowded (I can't remember what the UOG crowd predictions were but they were definitely high) but we had no problem at all doing everything we wanted to do.

Has anyone ever been there in July when they've had park closures due to crowds? I would think that possibly that would happen on the 4th of July...but other than that?

We can't change our plans...seriously, when we sat down to plan our trip, the only two weeks of the entire year we could go were this week (and that ended up not being viable after all), and the week we're going in July. My Dad already bought the military tickets (non-refundable) so we're locked in, regardless of the crowd situation.

But we know it will be crowded -- it was last time we went but we more than managed and had a fabulous time. I'm just hoping the park closures right now are a result of a "perfect storm" (as someone on one of the other boards put it)...spring break crowds, Easter crowds, cooler temps/wind so people going to the parks instead of the water parks, 4/3 deal, plus military discounts.... I just don't want to deal with park closures in July!! :scared1:

By our tickers, we leave on the same day. I'm not too worried about July. The 4/3 deal didn't include it, did it? Also, I think a lot of people actually think the crowds will be worse in the Summer and decide to go now.

We have the premium AP's so we can go whenever we want, but after seeing this week and the week after Christmas, maybe one of the seasonal passes with block out dates won't be that bad.

Honestly, does anyone else see a problem with Disney adding more and more hotels, but no new parks? How many rooms have been added since AK opened? What about all the new hotels in Orlando? I really feel they need to open another park, or increase the size of all the others. AK really needs it.

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Sorry I just wanted to vent my excitment to someone...I am home alone and I felt silly jumping up and down with excitment by myself.

I was sitting here and all of the sudden I thought I am getting married in less than 3 mths and to top it off we are going to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for our Disneymoon.

So one more jump of excitment:yay:

Hey Everyone I had done a little research about the MK being closed because of max capacity.. It seems that the weather was extremely cool that day and both of the water parks were closed... I guess forcing everyone to go to the theme parks.. I could be wrong but I found this info on multiple web sites..

I think we will all be okay.. I'm going july 8th-july 15th just made my adr's this am.. I'm soo excited...

I thought Spoodles was closing soon and not reopening until the fall as Cat Cora's new restaurant. :confused3
