You are doing a great job. I can't wait to see if anyone will be at the same resturants as us. I can make my ADR this Thursday but may not have time untill Friday. Lois

Here's my dumb question of the day.

Do we need to be at Epcot for "rope drop"?? Do they do anything special there??

I definitely want to be at MK for "rope drop" one of the days we're there and since we'll only be going to DHS and AK one day each, we'll probably try to arrive at "rope drop" for those parks.

We'll be at Epcot for a large part of 3 different days, and given the fact that World Showcase opens late, I think we could use those days as sleeping in days (or breakfast at another resort days). Thoughts??

I haven't done a rope drop yet. We had every intention on doing a couple last year, but it never worked out that way! I really want to get to rope drop at AK and MK this year.

The only thing about going to Epcot later all 3 days is don't you want to do anything on the other side? Especially Soarin'? I'd try to get there early one day to get a fastpass for Soarin' and Test Track. Even if you don't stay there long and ride them when you come back before you do the WS? Just a thought!

This is exactly what we do. We spend most of our trip in Epcot in the afternoons but if we find by the end of the trip that we really haven't had a chance to ride Test Track or Soarin', on of our last days, we'll get to Epcot early to do these then stroll WS right when it opens. That's usually my favorite day of the trip!

We alrady have two people that are dining together!!!:cool1:

I hope we make it 3! The 9th is my birthday and we are hoping for ADR for the Fantasmic package/Brown Derby! Our TA will schedule our ADRs tomorrow!

I need help from my dis friends and July regulars. We were leaving on a 6:50AM flight because it was the cheapest. Now more times have opened up. We will be staying at Marriott Horizons. Check out is 10AM, should we leave at 2:50 or 7:15? We will have an almost 2 year old with us. In the past with just the two older boys we would want to stay as long as possible, but we have never been in the summer and I'm picturing being hot with a toddler with no nap and no room to go back to. I suppose we could swim and he could sleep in the stroller or we could have another day at the parks, I just don't know what to do.

We are doing a late flight at 7 something on the last day. I'm hoping that our 2 year old will be okay all day and sleep in the stroller if need be. And here's hoping she falls asleep on the plane!

:cool1: We will be there 7/17 thru 7/25 at BCV. I do have a question - how is it that some people have been able to make their ADR's so far out in July?? Is there a secret that I am missing :confused3 Looking forward to it

Dates were booked awhile ago just never found the thread.

July 11th- July 21 staying at POFQ

I'm making my ADRs on Sunday so hopefully that works out. Planning for Fantasmic has become a task.

Also wondering if there are parks or DTD that I should avoid on the week-ends?

I'll post my ADRs when I have them :)

You're right about planning for Fantasmic becoming a task! On our last trip, it was easy to work with the park schedules and Fantasmic schedules to plan our ADRs and park plans. Not so much this time! Fantasmic schedule is really causing me some stress in trying to plan our park days and ADRs. UGH! And it will just figure...when we get there, they'll decide to show Fantasmic every night and all of my stress will have been in vain. LOL

My Dreams Unlimited TA is great! She was able to schedule in our ADRs as follows:

July 9 4:15 Fantasmic Package @ Brown Derby
July 10 2:00 Tea at the Grand Floridian
July 11 3:50 (late lunch) @ SciFi
July 13 5:50 dinner @ Wave

We are doing the CS plan as we didn't want to be too scheduled in - this is so exciting! :cool1:

For us, there's just too many reasons to skip Fantasmic!. 1) We've seen it quite a few times at Disneyland 2) DS5 doesn't want to see it (too scary) 3) It's only playing 3 times the week we're there 4) I don't want to eat dinner at 3:30

So, being the good Dad I am, I made a deal with DS. I told him that if he didn't complain about any of the other things that might scare him (fireworks, Soarin', Mission Space, etc), we could skip Fantasmic!.

We'll probably still be at DHS on a Fantasmic! day, but that's just because we're working the anti-EMH scheduling.
