Spoodles???

I thought Spoodles was closing soon and not reopening until the fall as Cat Cora's new restaurant.

That's why I really wanted to go there, so I gave it a try... Apparently they're still open then!

When I first tried this AM I was told that it was completly booked for the 9th and that the computer issue would not allow us to book for the 16th. So I put Janet on it as I needed to go to work. She said that she was on the phone for about an hour (mind you we only have cells) and was able to catch the ressie on the 9th and to get the one on the 16th as well. I am very happy that we were able to do this as I really love the show and want the grandkids to see it. Hopefully we can met up to al least say hello. Lois

You know about 38 years ago I was living in Brussles. My dad was in the Navy stationed with NATO (OTAN). I have many wonderful memories from the 18 months I was overseas. Lois

called at 12pm and was on hold for less than 1 minute.. spoke to a lovely CM called Diane.. the call took nearly an hour but it was worth it!!
there's a computer problem for CRT today, but otherwise got 8 ADRs as planned.. only had to make one change.. Mama Melrose's fully booked on 7/17 for dinner?! .. so made a last minute decision to try out Sannaa (sp?) at the new DVC AKL!


ooooh i'm so excited about the vacation right now!!
going to ring back later about CRT

Right now, we have tentative plans to be at Beach Club July 20-25. A July disney trip has become part of our "annual" summer road trip, the last 4 sumers. We live in Arizona but my kids and I do a cross-country road trip to/from the East Coast. One of our major stops is 2 weeks in the Outer banks w/ friends.. Since we are so close, we added the florida on... BUT, I looked at the July hours and was very dissapointed this year.. I'm amazed how early every thing is closing- we like to sleep in/be lazy/stay in AC and get nocturnal and do the late nights at the parks.. We don't have to deal with as much awful humidity then and usually the rain has passed.. I'm tempted to just cancel this year because of the hours.. Anyone think that they will add to the hours as it gets closer??? Since you can cancel up to 5 days out, I know I can wait and decide but just wondering......

Sorry I just wanted to vent my excitment to someone...I am home alone and I felt silly jumping up and down with excitment by myself.

I was sitting here and all of the sudden I thought I am getting married in less than 3 mths and to top it off we are going to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for our Disneymoon.

So one more jump of excitment

Congrats! We went to WDW (LAnd/Sea) for our honeymoon and have been planning to go back ever since. Hope you love it. We are headed back later this year for our 10th Anniversary!

If you want Mama Melrose and have the time to call back give that a try. When I made my ADR the Fantasmic Dinning Package I was was told the 9th of completely book for all three resturants. We called back later in the morning and was able to get the package for both nights we wanted. So you can call again and again to see about getting your ressies changed if it is important. We're off to POP on 16 July for two weeks!! Yeay!!! Can't wait - starting to feel real now! Will phone in the next couple of days to make reservations - thinking Crystal Palace for lunch one day and Mickey's Breakfast (forgotten the actual name) at the Contemporary one day! Woo hoo!!

Coming with our DS who just turned one last weekend - though we should bring him back to his roots!!(despite saying I would never fly long haul with a toddler). He was the little souvenir that we brought back from our last trip .
