Official July 08 Code Watch Thread...FINALLY!!

so far public codes 5/26/08-6/7/08. All those are at DVC resorts.

I will be taking my girls to Disney 7/20 - 7/25 for the first time.

I need some help understanding this code info.

I have already paid for my vacation and if I now get a "code" can they still apply it?

I have gotten 2 videos and neither of them had a "code".

I would love to save some $$.

I do have AAA would it be worth it to call and tell them and would I get a discount?

I think I've read of people who already paid for their vacation, got a code, and received some sort of rebate from WDW, but I'm not completely sure about that. If you've got AAA, just call WDW yourself and ask if there are any AAA discounted rooms available in the resort you want for the dates you want.

We just called and the CM told us that only AP codes are available. So no discount for us. But we are still going..Yay us!

Still no public code for july/aug? i guess hope must be dwindling. I useds the AP code but my sister was hoping for a genral public one

I booked using AP discount in July, I hope that a code will come out for the general public, other wise I will have to purchase an annual pass before arrival. Which ever way saves me the most money I will go with.

Finally...after hoping and praying for a code or pin...I got an email pin offer for Moderates for $154 and I could apply it to my dates July 20-27, so I upgraded from ASMu to CSR !!!!

I think it's a random thing, but I have been subscribing to every Disney newsletter on their site and I even asked for the DVC dvd just in case..I had also ordered the Planning DVD. Last week I didn't have one when I called...so maybe this is a new offer...

I received a pin that was generated from ordering the DVD. When I called there were no rooms left at the value resorts. Can I ask about a discount for the mods? The offer only mentioned value resorts.

You should call to see if this discount applies to mods. I tried to apply mine to ASMu but no luck so I upgraded to CSR. Good luck!

I received a pin code from Disney Destinations that said it was for DVC, values and moderates.

I already had an existing reservation at the Poly in July. When I called, they said I could use it at the deluxes. However, the Poly had no rooms left for that "code" so we switch our reservation over to the GF and saved hundreds. So, if it does not say its available at a certain level of hotel, I'd call because they may be able to apply it.
