DC. Luckily I was just able to move my flight to the first flight out on Friday, which means at least the plane will already be there. Plus the snow isn't supposed to start or be bad yet.

We're supposed to get some snow in Chicago the day my co-worker and I leave, but luckily we're taking the first flight out at 5:40am so hopefully we'll be all good! We're only supposed to get maybe an inch of snow, but I don't trust Chicago weather at all.

I've been watching the Orlando weather forecast, you just freaked me out about the weather at home the day of departure! Off to check now! We live in N MI which is often host to unpredictable lake effect.

I had a wonderful time going over our plans with my co-worker yesterday. We're both so excited! I just need to get through three more days of work and then I'm free!

leaving in 6 days. I went ahead and packed our bags on Monday but now it seems it will be a lot warmer than I originally expected so now to unpack and repack with more t-shirts less sweaters!

Lucky! It's going to be so chilly there this weekend. I know we'll still have fun, but I wish it would be about 10 degrees warmer!

We just got back last night, so I haven't looked at the temps for this weekend but it was definitely cold while we were there lol! Last Sat. was 80 and beautiful; Sunday was only high 60's but still very nice. That night it got cold and it was pretty much heavy sweatshirt/winter coat/hat/gloves right up until about an hour before we left yesterday. Despite it being our coldest trip we had a great time as I'm sure you will

We feel the same way we got home last night. Sucks to be back at work today. We did get about an hour in the pool on that beautiful Saturday afternoon. But overall it was an amazing trip.

So glad you enjoyed your trip! I know, coming home is always a downer. I want to jump right in to planning my next trip, and this is the first time in a long time I don't have a ticker What did you think of the crowds? Other than a few hours in the afternoon on MLK day, we didn't think they were as bad as they were predicted to be.

I know my ticker is false I need to go in and delete it. I also don't have a trip planned We are thinking May of 2017. I thought the crowds were manageable especially when we arrived early. They certainly built up over the MLK weekend. Not sure January is a time we would go again Id rather have the heat than the cold.

No work for 10 days!!!! Tomorrow is packing day:0 DS has had a cold all week, seems to be better today. But of course I feel a little under the weather now.Horrible timing Anyone back from the Poly? How was the monorail service?

We came back home Sunday from the best trip we could of ever imagined! Weather was perfect, crowds were perfect (except our last day was packed 1/16) and everything just fell into place perfectly!

Got back yesterday. Was a crazy trip. I got pretty sick before we left and unfortunately my mom had a heart attack while we were there. At lirst they said a mild one and they were going to do some tests the following day. We talked and she was very adamant that we stay in Florida ( this happened the day we got there.) They were surprised to find one of the main arteries was blocked 90%. So they had to go in and place a stent right away. It was very stressful but she did great and was home in a couple days. I was in the middle of changing plans and flying back but my dad said it was really stressing my mom out that we would miss our vacation and she did not want us to come home. So our week was spent checking in by phone every couple hours. We are so blessed that she made it through and is feeling great! So other than that.... trip was good. 4 days was nice weather, 2 days rain. We were able to ride and see all we wanted. We felt that compared to last year it was busier. We enjoyed our stay at the poly. Dinner at california grill was AMAZING!!! So worth it for my DH and I. DS enjoyed Lilos Playhouse. As a family we will probably wait until one of the new lands is open before we go back. I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip for me to take my 2 nieces on a short Disney cruise and I may fly in a day early and take them to MK for the day (they have never been).
