Official: January 2009

I just checked the 18th-25th online for a friend this morning and it's available without the special package, just not with. So Pop Century isn't sold out completely, as in a full resort, there just aren't any more 4/3 deals left there. That doesn't really tell us much about crowds since I don't think there's any way to know for sure how many rooms were allotted to the 4/3 for Pop. KWIM?

I just called yesterday to change some dining reservations during that week and had no problem at all. I couldn't get a Le Cellier dinner at the time I wanted on the day I wanted, though there were some later ADRs available. It's fine because I have a lunch ADR but was just thinking dinner may have fit our plans better. Still, I think it's unusual for there to be ANY Le Cellier ADRs available 60ish days out. There also weren't any Mama Melrose Fantasmic packages on the day I checked (we already have Holly & Vine but would prefer MM), again, to be expected with only two Fantasmics per week, I think. There was plenty availability for Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and 'Ohana though, and I was able to get the exact times I wanted. :goodvibes

We got LeCelliar for the week before you. I had no problems getting everything I wanted, except Chef Mickey's.
I am still hoping it won't be very crowded for our trip from Jan 10 to jan 17.

I am soo excited! We originally had Jan 6-10 booked at Pop but then the new deal came out. I was all ready that night to change it but DBF was hesitant. Well he finally told me Fri that he would like to do the 4/3 deal. I called and called and finally got something :cool1: the week we wanted was unavailable but I got Jan. 10-17 at Coronado Springs with Park Hoppers and Deluxe Dining Plan!!

I'm at Pop 1/11-1/18 with park hopper and ddp :) hoping for a smaller crowd! But either way I'm so excited :cool1:

Anything they do for an engagement celebration?

We are all set for Jan 28-Feb 4th Staying at POP with DDP! Even got in the birthday offer! Yippiee!

DBF and I will be @ POP from Jan. 10th-17th w/ 3 FREE nights!! It was a very spontaneous idea considering we were just there in May. :cheer2:

We made our plans several months back for Jan 24 - Feb 2, 2009.
Our T/A got us the deal the "special" as soon as it came out and saved us $300+ and we also get the $200 gift card to use at Disney :cool1:

Ours did the same thing! I was so happy!

We are at pop January 17 to 24 with park hoppers and the DDP but no 4/3 deal . ( booked and payed before deal came out but did get a AAA discount on room )

We'll be there from Jan 22 through the 30th. We're staying at SSR. I'm so excited.

I also booked and paid in full through AAA before the promo came out but the day the promo came out I called AAA and they called Disney and they honored the promo. So instead of getting money back I suggested applying the credit and upgrade us to Deluxe DDP so I did not have to get it back just to repay again.

Yeah I will be missing Splash Mountain, it's one of my favorites. Now that I am thinking about it, it was the last ride we rode the last night we were there in August. So sad:sad1:
Well at least your bf will get to try out the other mountains...:goodvibes and when you head over to Expedition Everest at AK try to sit in the last row and when you are going backwards, close your eyes and it almost feels like you are going upside down. :thumbsup2

And Happy pre Birthday Steffali! :cake:

I just found out about Splash being down too...and Dumbo (remember I have toddlers) during my vacation! Its my husband and kids first time there and I havent been in 7 yrs! (and we won't be able to afford to go for 3 more years at least) What a friggin bummer to plan months in advance to find out 6 weeks before that one of the best MK rides will be down. (And my 4 yr old was really looking forward to Splash Mountain......)

Well, nothing can be done about Splash Mountain for you (but remember - it may also be too cold to want to walk around wet!), but Dumbo's only closed for one day - 1/7. Perhaps you can hop to MK for Dumbo on one of your other days?

We go every year in January and it's pretty much always closed for refurb in Jan. Most likely because it is colder, that' when it will have the least impact on guests.

This year we will be there from Jan 6 to Jan 13 staying all the All Star Movies. Was hoping for a mod but nothing available with the 4/3 deal. Oh well, we'll just have to go back for my bday in May and stay at the Contemporary.

It certainly wouldnt hurt to ask for an upgrade

It was being refurbished when we went last January, and I was so sad. This year, we are going Jan 27 to Feb 3rd so it will be OPEN! YEAHHH!

But Philharmagic will be closed! BOOOOO!
