Tomorrow marks 8 weeks till 5 girls and myself embark on our "Girls Only" Trip. Beyond excited. We will be staying at SSR, Jan. 5 - 10.

Our stay has been booked but are still anxiously awaiting to buy our plane tickets. We know as college students we can find some discounts during that time, but we are waiting on Spirit to see if a deal pops up like last years. (Something like $.50 a day for every day you were away, plus $25 for each bag) We're not sure we are going to find a deal like this again, but they appear to just be getting started on their deals for Jan.

As for going to Disney, after being to Disney 17 times in a period of 12 years, I haven't been there since 2002, so this is a well overdue trip for me. Most of all I am excited to be taking this trip with a group of friends that love Disney just as much as I do.

I wonder if it will be busy there since the promo came out?, I just hope the weather is nice! Because the promo came out we upgraded to DxDDP!! So excited about that!!

A lot of new people booking! Welcome!! Under the advice of another dis member on the DVC board I checked my already booked flights and was able to get a refund in the form of a voucher (enough to pay for my October trip .) I had booked my flight in September (Northwest) and they went down drastically since then.
As I am looking out my window right now at work and I see snow all around me I am VERY excited for January!! Actually I like the snow, a necessary ingredient for snowboarding so...

My wife and I will be there Jan. 16-24...and have already made dinner reservations...just waiting for the money so we can book our trip and will be staying at Pop Century...I am SOOO excited about our trip.

We're actually way down South, near AC. We are looking to fly out of the AC Airport (Basically a Spirit Air run Airport), but if push comes to shove we will be flying out of Philly.

Has anyone ever flown with Jetblue before? I was able to get 2 tickets flying from Chicago to Orlando for $480...

I can't wait unitl the Jan. prices come out! I'm on pins and needles!

We've flown JetBlue the last two times we've gone to Florida... We've been pleased with their services (even the time our luggage got left behind - we had it delivered home the next day!)

We'll be arriving at WDW on 12/31/08 and leaving 1/7/09. We're staying at CBR for the very first time!

I think it will be really exciting to hit the 20s. Especially because it's the week before Christmas and that's excitement in itself.

I upgraded my dinning plan today to DxDDP and my travel agent told me that January is going to be packed there. She told me the week I am there January 18-25 Pop is full!! Glad I booked early and then the promo came out and they honored that!!

I just checked the 18th-25th online for a friend this morning and it's available without the special package, just not with. So Pop Century isn't sold out completely, as in a full resort, there just aren't any more 4/3 deals left there. That doesn't really tell us much about crowds since I don't think there's any way to know for sure how many rooms were allotted to the 4/3 for Pop. KWIM?

I just called yesterday to change some dining reservations during that week and had no problem at all. I couldn't get a Le Cellier dinner at the time I wanted on the day I wanted, though there were some later ADRs available. It's fine because I have a lunch ADR but was just thinking dinner may have fit our plans better. Still, I think it's unusual for there to be ANY Le Cellier ADRs available 60ish days out. There also weren't any Mama Melrose Fantasmic packages on the day I checked (we already have Holly & Vine but would prefer MM), again, to be expected with only two Fantasmics per week, I think. There was plenty availability for Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and 'Ohana though, and I was able to get the exact times I wanted.

We'll be there too from January 3-7. We'll be just coming off the DCL New Years Eve Cruise
