Okay we have an advanced dining reservation at Chef Mickey and we plan on going to Magic Kingdom after brunch we are staying at the Caribbean Beach resort and we have a rental car what is the best way to get to Chef Mickey's

The most suitable/quickest/easiest journey from:

MK to cr
MK to poly
MK to gf

Dmil (86) is in a wheelchair and considering either one night in a monorail resort or
2 nights at wl in a cabin ( big benefit being able to park right next to cabin)

Any recommendations?

If you've got a wheelchair, the only option to Poly or GF is the monorail; the boats they use on that route do not take wheelchairs.

To CR, it's either the monorail or about a half mile walk.

There are no cabins at WL. There are cabins at Fort Wilderness campground. Be advised that you need to take 2 buses to everywhere except MK, which means loading and unloading the wheelchair twice. That can take quite a bit of time. To get to MK, you need to take a bus & a boat. If you plan to drive everywhere, it's not an issue.

We're going to AK on the 24th and the park closes at 6pm. Our plan is to hop over to MK until 11pm for dinner and a ride or two. What time do you think we should expect to get to Liberty Tree Tavern by taking the bus after leaving AK right at 6pm closing? I currently have an 8pm reservation but wondering if I can move it a bit closer.

Going park to park, using the buses, I like to figure on an hour. It usually doesn't take that long, but better safe than sorry.

Sorry-yes I did indeed mean fw-as obviously we can park right outside the cabin.

What happens when the monorail is not operational for poly or gf?

Agreed - driving to MK is often not the best option. The boats from the fort to MK are often the best route

Ok, well...I read page 1 and then went to page 229 and went backwards. I made it all the way to page 200 before I finally decided to just ask, even though I'm usually muttering under my breath while reading the dis about people not reading and being lazy..

We have an 8:00AM Wild Africa Trek scheduled for AK and are staying at AKL (Jambo House).

A.) What time do you suspect would be good to arrive at the bus stop at Jambo? (The bus runs that early, right?)
B.) Should I just drive? We usually prefer to not see the POV again until vacation is over, but...

TIA!

I know they didn't use to run buses from parks to DS but am I remembering correctly that they do run now? Specifically going from AK to DS. Thanks

Nope. No buses run from the parks to Disney Springs. You'll have to transfer buses at a resort.

I'd get to the bus stop at 7:00AM. But check with the resort. For some reason, I'm under the impression they may provide separate transportation for the Trek.

Hi!
I've got a reservation for Ohana around830 and ws hoping to watch Electrical Water Pageant from here.
Will I have bus to go back to the Pop? I guess I'd need to go back to MK via monorail and after that grab the bus to Pop?
Worried they might have stopped running.
Same thing from California Grill, however, this day there is NSSHP so I guess will be running til late?

Thanks

MK buses run until there are no more Guests in the park. You can count on them running at least an hour after park closing, the end of Wishes, or the end of MSEP, whichever is later. After that, you can check the schedules, and if any park is still open (including EMH), you can transfer there. You can't transfer at another park after it's closed, even if it just closed a few minutes ago.

After everything is closed, you can still take a bus to DS until at least midnight, and transfer there.

If you're traveling to MK from Poly, consider the boats instead of the monorail, as long as there's no one with mobility impairment in your group. Those boats do not accommodate wheelchairs or unfolded strollers, and you have to step down into them from the dock.

And yes, full bus service is provided until everyone has left MK after the end of MNSSHP. Monorails may not be running until the end, but it's an easy walk from CR to the MK bus depot, along a safe, well-lit walkway.

Cool so i shouldnt worry then!
Didnt remember about DS, many thanks!
