Hi! We are staying at Fort Wilderness in a couple of weeks and have an early ADR at Tusker House one morning. From what I read, the fort's bus doesn't start until 8:00. Is there a good way for us to get to our ADR?

There are buses to all the parks, from all the resorts, starting by 6:30 each day. BUT...they don't run as frequently as the 'regular' buses do. So, for an 8:00 ADR at Tusker House, I would be out at the AK bus stop no later than 6:45. That way you are sure to be on a bus that will get you there for 8. It takes a bit to walk back to Tusker House from the front of the park, so you'll want to be at AK no later than 7:40.

I've got a few questions about our upcoming May trip. We will be staying at the Beach Club.

1. We have a breakfast ADR at Whispering Canyon @ 10:45AM, is our best option to travel through Epcot and board a WL bus?

2. We have two separate early mornings at MK, both starting @ 8:15AM (ADR & tour), should we be waiting for the MK bus at the BC @ 7:00AM?

3. Is it possible to walk from DTD to TL? I know they're quite close, but not sure if there is walkways or a route that is somewhat safe?

4. To get to BB from MK is our best option to walk/monorail to CR and board a bus to BB from there?

If a taxi is a better option for any of my questions, our group is 5 adults, not sure if they have taxi vans available?

Fastest way to MK from EP at close? I've read to take the IG to BC and take the bus to MK. I've never used the IG before, also concerned about finding the bus at BC. Are there tons of people doing this, is it the best choice? Thanks

Does anyone know how long the trip would be from Epcot to WL? I was thinking about taking the bus as a direct route instead of the monorail to/from MK and then boat to WL. Unless the bus has more than one stop or I'd have to wait more than 15 minutes for it?

You could do that if you have a pass, but it would be faster to take the bus to MK & transfer to the bus to WL. You could also take the boat from MK to WL for a few minutes more.

No, there is no walkway. After 11 a.m., most buses leaving DTD stop at TL; check with the driver to make sure. Before 11 a.m., see the Transportation CM at the MktPl bus stop for assistance.

Yes.

Bus would usually be faster. There are no intermediate stops. Buses run about every 20 minutes, so your average wait time would be 10 minutes. Travel time should be about 15 minutes.

Monorail route involves transferring at TTC, in addition to the transfer at MK to the boat.

The only practical option via Disney Transport is the monorail, which includes a transfer at TTC.

The other option is taxi to CR, and then a 7-minute walk to MK.

The internal buses start earlier than that. I'm not sure of the exact time; I think limited service starts around 6:30. Ask a bus driver on the internal shuttle, or the desk personnel when you check in.

You can also walk to the Outpost, where the AK bus picks up. It should be no more than a mile, depending on your campsite location. Or you can rent a golf cart the day before.

Not sure if that's an accurate start time for busses but either way, I'd take a taxi.

But they still need to get to the Outpost, as taxis are not supposed to pick up within the campground.

Yep, forgot about that!

If you're in World Showcase, that's a good option. BC is the closest resort to the back gate, and it's also usually the last stop for the bus before heading to MK. Wait time should average 10 minutes up to 20, travel time 10-15.

From the front gate, monorails run every 10-15 minutes for about a 10 minute trip to TTC, then 5-10 minutes to transfer to the MK Express Monorail (assuming no line), and just a few minutes to the MK station.

Going to the World in September and trying to decide whether we should head out to MK after my dd's BBB appt in DTD. What's the easiest way? And how much time should we give ourselves?

Her appt is at 6:00 and we will be taking disney transportation.

You would need to leave 90 mins to get from DTD to MK. Easiest way would be to take the CR and then walk over to MK. Waits for buses can be on the long side at DTD. Then the ride to the CR, and then the 10 min walk over to MK.

Travel to FtW is my weak point! I know that I usually take the bus to MK and then the boat to FtW. I believe that if you drive, you have to park in the main lot, and then take an internal bus to that area. If I'm wrong, someone will come along ro correct me
