On A&E on Tuesdays... I didn't know much about Gene and when I saw the show, at first I was like YOU PIG(he loves the ladies), but boy he grows on ya like fungus LOL. He really is funny and what a fun Dad at times. Nick is adorable and the daughter is so opposite her father! I like the show now. I think it is cute how Gene NEEDS to be liked and known... too funny! I watched more episodes on the On Demand cable feature, got me hooked.

Me and my husband are also addicted to this show. We just love it. I think the daughter is the most level headed one of all of them. And Nick is just too funny.

I turned this on one day because there was nothing else on tv. Now,I'm hooked. My favorite episode was when Gene and Nick had a bet over which of them was the better driver.
I have to say the Simmon's kids are well behaved kids.

I saw the bull semen one. I couldn't beleive that he actually collected some. My favorite one was when Gene was trying to throw a suprise birthday party for Shannon and she turned it into an ambush wedding. I thought Gene was going to die right there on the spot.

And here's a question I probably know the answer to.....Gene doesn't want to get married so he won't be tied to one woman, but he has been happily UNmarried to Shannon for 22 years. Because they are not married, does that give him the freedom to be with all the other women he wants - and Shannon will turn the other way?? Wow...

The one part of the show I didn't like was when Shannon did not like the gothic-inspired family pictures. She seemed so grouchy. lol

Yes, it was last minute on his part, but it was so unique. He made it up to her, I guess, by buying her a new sportscar.

They make a good couple, though, that's for sure... and they are all too funny!

I am a KISS fan I will say and also a reality TV junkie. If it's on..... I will find it.

I find it hysterical because his "family" persona is so unlike his "rock star" image. I am suprised he is doing this.... unless it's for more $$$$.

When he paid for the food and tv at the spa and got busted...

When he paid to pass the driving test.....

When he paid $40 or 60 dollars for the $2 KISS shirt....


Seems he has more $$ than sense but he does seem to be a good guy with a genuine heart and love for his family.

Oh, and the hair talk while on the couch..... "Your dads hair has a life of its own." LOL

Great show.

LOL!! I am so NOT a Gene Simmons fan, but last weekend there was a marathon of the show on and I got caught up watching it (dh came home from work and was like "WHAT are you watching?!" LOL) and .... now I LOVE it!! I ADORE his kids, and he's an absolute TRIP!

I love this show! One of my favorite spots was when Gene had donned the demon persona and was sitting on the couch talking with his dog. Just cracked me up

I love that show - Nick is so much like my DS16 it is just scary...

I loved the episode where Gene put on his dragon boots and was still shorter than Nick. Gene says well I have the tongue and Nicks says well I have size 16 shoes...

I don't think Shannon will allow cheating. I am sad he wont maaty her, the kids want him to. But I guess he has some hang up about marriage in general. I don't believe he cheats, he just needs to be liked and known... thats what I see in him... HE NEEDS TO BE SOMEONE. I guess that is what got him success in KISS.
