I have a friend that works for Gene Simmons. Gene Simmons is a client of his. I told my friend that I have been watching the show waiting to see if he will be on it. He told me that show is so fake. That Gene is not a family man at all. I was so disappointed to hear this.

I love this show, however I just caught the show for the first time last week. I have been a fan of Gene's forever, he's so funny because he's so goofy. Loved the show, man do they love to torture him.

I kinda felt bad for Gene - this fan was TOTALLY obsessed with him. To the point that I would have been scared. He was trying to pitch a bunch of lame business ideas at him and all I could think of was that the guy really needed to get a life!

But he did treat him sort of bad - but the fan never really seemed to notice. This guy apparently won the contest to spend the day with Gene by saying that he was going to tatoo KISS on ...well use your imagination.

I turned this on one day because there was nothing else on tv. Now,I'm hooked. My favorite episode was when Gene and Nick had a bet over which of them was the better driver.
I have to say the Simmon's kids are well behaved kids.

I have not seen it, but what a nice change that must be vs. Ozzy Osbourne's kids!

I don't think Shannon will allow cheating. I am sad he wont maaty her, the kids want him to. But I guess he has some hang up about marriage in general. I don't believe he cheats, he just needs to be liked and known... thats what I see in him... HE NEEDS TO BE SOMEONE. I guess that is what got him success in KISS.

I don't know who knows this, but this is how KISS was formed. Paul Stanley ( for sure ) and Gene Simmons ( I think ) placed an ad in a newspaper looking for bandmates. The ad basically stated that you must be willing to do ANYTHING to become famous rock stars, and that talent was less important than the drive to make it big.

BTW, anybody remember that KISS tribute album from about 10 years ago? The one where lots of different groups sang KISS songs? At that point in time KISS was in a major lull in their career. Gene and Paul PAID people to make that album, in hopes that it would revive their careers.

Guess it worked!

I didn't know that. But it makes sense Gene is totally into being a rock star. I know he LOVES money too so it makes sense that he would and has done ANYTHING to make it and stay there LOL. He really needs his ego stroked

I was pretty bummed that he missed Sophies father/daughter thing (tennis?) to make a business deal. I dunno, bums me out I guess. I like him, but he does has issues with stardom LOL.
