**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Leaving in a couple of days and had a few questions.

1. Have they been running out of sing along tickets each day? If so, how early do I need to go get some? Do I need all family members present or will they hand me 5?

2. Once I have tickets, how early do I need to arrive for the sing along?

3. We have the fantasmic package booked on our DHS day, has anyone been successful going to fantasmic and then making in time for the fireworks?

Thanks in advance.

1. According to people who have reported back here, tickets have still been available around 4pm. Haven't seen anyone report after that time if they are still available. A couple reported back they needed everyone present. But the majority of reports and most recent experiences have been that only 1 person was needed to get the tickets.

I have not done the show in standby yet.

2. There is a return window on the tickets. It's best to return during the earliest part of that window. There has been one report that the doors close 10 minutes before show time. Though others did not see that when they went.

3. There is a tip from a DISer on the first page on exiting F! to see the fireworks.

So excited:cheer2: I finally was able to get reservation for the package for tomorrow! My DS is going to be so excited!

I do have 2 questions-we are not normally rope drop people, however, I have heard that Olaf does a welcome on the screen. What time is that at and is it worth seeing? Also, I am going to have DS skate...this will be a surprise and probably the highlight of his day! How long has the wait time been for this and Oaken's? I was hoping to do this around 1 or 2 o'clock....but not sure if we might be better off to head over there first thing?

Congratulations!

15 minutes earlier than park opening, people have been allowed inside, up to the stage. Once the Olaf little welcome has taken place, the ropes drop to other parts of the park. It's very short. There are youtube videos of it. You might want to check those out first, then decide. There is a MC and then Olaf is on the screen. There is another screen on Hollywood BLVD broadcasting the welcome too.

The first day, the wait was long. However, each time I've been inside since, there hasn't been a long wait to pay and sign up. You may have to wait for the Zamboni or professional skating demonstration. Typically they have been at the :00 for the Zamboni and :15's for the figure skaters which starts at 10:15 and :30's for the guest skating which starts at 9:30am. Information on this is also on the first page of the thread.

Just a heads up for people wanting to book the Frozen package, there's an advisory on the HUB that says that it's completely sold out fort he rest of the event.
If you really want to book keep calling but CM have been told that it's completely sold out

Yep we tried yesterday for any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of the event and was told it's sold out.

Any other opinions on if the package is worth it? I have been folloing lovethattink's postings, but I'm still on the fence about whether or not to cancel the package I have booked for the end of the month.

Best wishes in making your decision. It is a big expense. You still have time to make your decision. Hopefully, others will chime in on if they thought is was worth it.

I think it was worth it since it is a limited time event. The movie was such a tremendous hit that it was fun being a special part of that excitement. Front and center viewing was nice & the dessert party was cute. I wouldn't necessarily do it a second time, but DD20 & I were happy we included the event n our mother-daughter trip last week!

Thanks for all of the awesome information. I am coming very close to canceling the package. For my family with hyperactive 5 and 3 year old it is too much of a risk. They won't sit around and wait for fireworks since they are little the dessert will only occupy them for a little bit. They won't sit around and wait for the parade. The heat will make everyone cranky. I'll be lucky if they sit through the entire sing a long. I think our Frozen experience will be trying to catch a quick glimpse of the parade and then moving on to something else.
Besides my children I'm worried about weather and canceled fireworks. That would be a bummer. If they were older it might make more sense as a special Disney treat, but honestly I'm really excited for the kids to get a picture in Fantasyland with Anna and Elsa.

Does anyone know how much the Anna/Elsa flip doll costs please? :)

$31.95. Looking at my daughters as she sleeps with it now.

My overall thoughts on the event...meh compared to other hard ticket experiences. But if you ask my 8 yea old, you'll get a whole other answer. And really, that's all I needed to justify buying it.

My daughter loved walking around with the lanyard and proudly displaying her VIP cred.

The am parade and show area was great for the snacks, but as is all GA areas, you didn't really want to risk leaving your patch of cement to get more once you were in place (ESP if you are on the rope). It was HOT. Sitting there for an hour or so in no shade? There was no frozen lemonade cup that would have helped.

Sing along was great. The 2 historians made the show. We missed our return and was able to get tix for another show no problem.

The dessert party was cute. Not as good as others but they had free "mommy and daddy drinks" which by that time was weeeeelllll worth it.

My husband works blocking people from walking into Pixar Place before the fireworks and he talks to the people in charge of the fireworks and they say that only if lightning is in the very close proximity they would not cancel. So if it's raining, even thundering the fireworks will go off. It takes them more time to unload all of the fireworks from the trucks and that's why they launch them even with rain and thunder nearby

That is interesting. I could not stand in a rainstorm to watch fireworks w my kids. There is just no feasible way to consume enough included "mommy drinks" that would make it a pleasant experience. Haha. I'm disappointed and was so excited to find out about and secure the package. I just know it won't work for us. I'd rather spend the package money on merchandise rather than spending additional money on merchandise.
