***OFFICIAL February 2025 Thread***

Hi all! My LL window opens tomorrow and I’m conflicted- we’re doing MK on the 5th to use the extra evening hours and I specifically want to ride Tiana, Tron, Pirates, HM, 7DMT, and Jungle Cruise, although I won’t be upset if we miss that. Also little stuff like Tiki Room And Small World. If we plan to arrive at 1 and stay until midnight, do I need LLMP? Should I buy Tron or 7DMT Single Pass? Any advice is welcome!
@Wayland10 You mentioned Tiana first, so if it was me, this is what I would do:
  1. Purchase LLMP right when your window opens, book Tiana.
  2. Book a tier 2 ride for a return time that includes your 1 pm park arrival. Using this immediately will unlock your ability to book any tier of ride for your next choice.
  3. Book your next tier 2 as close to the other tier 2's time as possible so you can unlock and book another ride. For example, book the 2nd pick for a 12:30 - 1:30 tap-in, the 3rd pick for a 1:30 - 2:30 tap-in, etc.
  4. Purchase a LLSP for TRON if you want a low wait, otherwise try and ride it after sunset. It looks amazing at night.
  5. Purchase a LLSP for SDMT if you want a low wait; otherwise, ride it during HEA fireworks or near the end of After-hours.
  6. On the 5th, try arriving and tapping in at MK before 1 p.m. so that you can attempt to get the second VQ drop for Tiana's, especially if you don't purchase LLMP. Use time.gov and be in the know about how to get a VQ.
I've read mixed reports on whether or not Tiana's is open during after-hours/extra magic hours, so I wouldn't leave that to chance. Book it using the LLMP. Also familiarize yourself with how to modify LLMP's and use the VQ.

Best of luck, I hope you get them all!

FYI right now it is showing no LL available for Tiana's. Unless they open more up. I'm not sure if they open more up each day or not. Mine is at 3:25 and I keep checking to see if I can move it up. I know I'm a bit late with this info since your day was yesterday but wanted to share for others.

I know the weather will probably keep changing everyday until I leave, BUT for the last couple months, I've been checking the weather for February. It has been predicting 60's to 70's, and I was planning on pants, long sleeves and sweatshirts.

Now it's showing 70's to 80's, which I love! But now I'm not sure what to pack... Carry on only so limited space.

What is everyone else planning on wearing!?

I am very cold nature due to my anemia so I will have on leggings, a t shirt and a sweatshirt that I will tie around my waist if I do get warm. Shoot I wight even have on a long sleeve tee shirt under my short sleeve one that I can take off in the afternoon too. If my husband was on this trio he would have on shorts and a tee and still be sweating LOL.

I am 4 days out! Time to actually start putting things in the suitcase since I am going to be extremely busy the next several days. So after I get home from my hair appointment I will start laying clothes out on the bed. By then I should be finished with laundry and will know all my leggings are clean and ready to pack. I need to set a reminder to charge my magic band plus and my headphones for flight down. I'll do that Saturday evening or Sunday. I don't want to charge my magic band too early though. I also need to decide if I am doing a grocery order for waters and some fruit to have in my room for quick easy grab and go things. Tomorrow I plan to get to the bank and get some smaller bills out for any tipping I need to do on the trip so I will be good to go on that. Oh, I want to condenses my gift cards into one so I need to do that as well. I think after I do those things and pack I will be good to go.

I just put a big pile of clothes on the guest bedroom bed. I usually pull out everything I might want to take then narrow it down as I put together outfits for each day. I am used to going when it’s hoooot so usually plan two outfits for each day from being sweaty ( probaly TMI). This trip I am planning on layers. I have a variety of tennis skirts and leggings - short sleeve and long sleeve tees as well as some sweatshirts. No matter what it will be nice to be there when it’s not blazing hot so not mad about it .

For Tiana's, pick out a LL time, but be flexible the day of. Times often open up once the VQ is filled and people use that instead of a LL.

Good catch! VQ it is @Wayland10.

I don't want to charge my magic band too early though.
I will get mine out soon and see if it has an update. I'm reasonably tech-savvy but have had issues with my magic bands. DS13 fixes it for me every time (LOL), so I like to leave time for that.

4 days left for you, that's exciting!!! Great packing reminders too!

I need to get on it regarding clothes and packing and see what fits.

Thanks for everyone's input!

Weather keeps looking warmer and warmer! Looking forward to visiting Blizzard Beach for the first time. Unfortunately, weather at home is now showing snow for our departure day so fingers crossed for no delays!! 🤞

If it keeps looking like this, I've decided on bringing mostly shorts and a couple pairs of leggings just in case. Short sleeve shirts and a couple light jackets. I just bought the Winnie the Pooh fleece sweatshirt on Disney Store, so I'll save that for the coldest day!

Thanks everyone! In the end I decided not to get LLMP because Tiana’s Bayou wasn’t available and there was no guarantee it would become available. I’ll VQ it!

It's looking like low 80's for the highs during my week with low 60's for the low. Perfect for me! I went and did my normal target/Sam's/grocery run today so picked up my last minute things I needed for the trip. I am still trying to work on a grocery delivery but none of the apps seem to be working for me or don't have a small pack of waters (I don't need 24 bottles...ugh) so I'm not sure what I am going to do.

We’re working on our Publix order too. Need diapers and sunscreen and toddler snacks mostly. And some wine.
I also decided we’re skipping my toddlers gymnastics class this weekend because I feel like every virus she gets comes from that place and I’d really rather us not get sick before our flight on Tuesday.

We will be there 2/8-2/14, at the Poly. Our oldest have been before but it'll be our 2yo toddler's first time and she is HUGELY into Disney so her mind will be thoroughly blown!

I can purchase LL in just a few hours. Fingers crossed I'll be able to snag Tiana's for the times that I want. (The older ones are really into that movie and the soundtrack so I don't want to miss out on that.)

I'm prioritizing LLSPs for GotG and Tron. I wonder which will be harder to find times for and is worth purchasing first...?

Late to this thread-

Heading to Disney Feb 15-22 and staying at POR Riverside!
Going with a big group this time, but we will likely split up for some things. It is myself, my husband, my 2 sons, my parents, my cousin, her husband and their two sons. My cousin and I are the designated planners and we’ve planned a lot of trips together over the years. Cant believe how close it is! Been reading up on the new LL system to get ready for next weekend when I can book.

Tomorrow is our arrival day. We have our SWA boarding passes and just need to pack. It looks like we will have great weather. It will be the warmest February trip we've taken to WDW. :)

Did you get it figured out? I’ve only used Instacart/Publix and had luck, but I know there are many others.

I feel this!! Happens with my DD too 🤒🤧 Good call on skipping.

I think they did a fantastic job incorporating the music in this ride. I hope you all get a VQ and get to ride. Time.gov is essential.

That sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy the family time.
Tomorrow is our arrival day
Safe travels!!

Yeah. I decided to get a LLMP for MK so that I could get an advance LL with that as my Tier 1 selection and I got a time that works for us, so we have that banked. But I think that doesn't conflict with VQ if we want to try to go twice?

I'm a little confused on that actually. As far as I know, Tiana's is the only attraction that's both VQ and eligible for a Multi-Pass LL time. I think you can do both but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.

Weather forecast looks fantastic for that week (week after this upcoming one). Our plan for MK feels really solid (more so than our plan for HS though we'll make it work). Super jazzed!

Yes, if you can secure a VQ at the 7 am drop, or the 1 pm drop, you may ride it twice that day. Once with your LLMP, and once with your VQ.

LLMP will have you enter through the LL line. There is a merge point with the VQ line and I usually wait 5-10 minutes after that before boarding the ride.

The VQ will have you enter in the regular line, and the wait there can vary. The outside queue is a good telltale. The inside queue is themed and helps to pass the time.

You can only get one VQ for Tiana’s per day, so if you secure one at the 7 am drop, you cannot also get one at the 1 pm drop.

That is the same for the VQ at Guardians in EPCOT. There is a caveat there for when they do extra hours for deluxe resort guests. There will be a 6 PM VQ for Guardians and anyone staying at a deluxe resort with eligible entry for EPCOT that day can try to get one, regardless if you got a VQ earlier in the day. Currently, Tiana’s is not open during the MK extra hours, so there will not be that 3rd chance.

I am at the airport and was able to grab a virtual queue for guardians but I got group 32 and estimated call time is 10:30 lol. I land at 10:55 so I am hoping they are still pretty lax on letting people in the VQ late, if not I will just ride at my 2:15 pass time

lol I don’t blame you on skipping gymnastics. I work with the kids at church and everyone is sick right now. As we were leaving church last night my pastors wife told me to not come home with the flu lol. Gosh I hope I don’t but I know a lot of people are.

I realize I might live to regret this, but hubby and I have decided we're sticking to our guns and not spending any money on Lightening Lanes, after hours parties/events, or anything else with the sole purpose of shortening the wait time for attractions. (Well, there is actually another purpose: making more money for Disney! LOL) Honestly, it boggles our minds to even consider forking over more cash than we already have.

At this point in our lives we'd rather put our money toward staying in our favorite area of WDW at a beautiful and extremely convenient resort where we can walk to 2 parks, as well as getting Park Hopper tickets for 6 days including our arrival and departure days. Then we have the opportunity to be at whichever park we want to pretty much whenever we want to be there. I get a twitch if I even think about reserving rides days before I'm there.

Of course, I would have been able to spend less money by doing it differently, ie: booking a less expensive resort or no Park Hoppers or a day or two less on the park tickets themselves, and that saved money could have gone toward Lightening Lanes. And I can certainly understand why someone would want to go a different route than we do.

But for us, as much as we love the attractions, there's nothing we can't live without.

Now when we go back with the grandbabies it might be a different story...

Comments like this are what I think of when folks ask "I need advice for Disney." It just goes to show there are SO MANY different types of ways to do Disney, and none of them are wrong! Park hopper yes or no. Lodging from $60 a night to probably $2060 a night. Lightening Lanes, bring food in, fancy dining.
I think it's great that there are so many different options. And this board is a great place to learn all different ideas and see what works for you!
