***OFFICIAL February 2025 Thread***

Up this morning to do LLs. I'm a... shall we say detailed planner (it's what I love!) and I admit, I had a bit of a challenge switching from Genie+ to the new system. Even something like swapping to do Alien Swirling Saucers first instead of Toy Story Mania feels kind of weirdly complicated when I know I have two folks who maybe won't ride Saucers, so I'll need to modify or cancel for them (or have them scan in but not ride).

But overall, really happy with what we booked. I'm at the "okay, the next 7 days can just GO NOW PLEASE." Well, that and keeping my fingers and toes crossed my 6-year-old doesn't catch anything at school this week.

I decided to experiment with LLMP for this trip. The idea is to purchase LLMP for AK and Epcot, the two cheapest ones and then to hop to Hollywood Studios and MK in the evening for more LLs. My window opened today. It isn't working out exactly as I hoped because it is hard to get the earliest passes. But I think I can modify as it gets closer. We'll see how it works out. :)

Got my Multi-pass and single passes purchased this morning. I didn't do multi-pass for EPCOT nor AK but did purchase Single pass for Guardians and FOP. I wasn't sure I'd already be at the airport and parked by 6:00 am my time to snag a virtual queue for Guardians since it's the day I fly down so didn't want to risk having to miss the ride. If I am parked and at the airport already I will also try for a virtual queue. Last year I was able to do both so I rode twice back to back because of the time my virtual queue was called.

For MK, I will be crisscrossing the park due to the times I have but I'm okay with that if I am unable to modify things. I have my breakfast ADR that morning so I didn't want anything before 10:00 but my Haunted mansion is 9:55-10:55 so that works out well. Then everything including my single passes are back to back except there is like an hour between my last one and Tiana's. The earliest I could get for that was 3:25. I'll try to modify but I am not holding out hope.

For HS Slinky was already in the 3:00 hour as well so I got my toy story for after that because I have my Oga's at 2:00 so booked my Rise single pass for 1:00-2:00 and can hopefully do that right at the start, and either do single rider at Millennium Falcon right after (Before Oga's) or even before I do Rise and hang out until Oga's time. I will rope drop Mickey and Minnie's and I have my Tower of Terror so I can start booking more after that. Maybe I can snag another tier one but we will see.

On a side note, I will be wearing a poncho on Tiana's because I am seeing where people are getting soaked and I do not want to walk around is soaking wet clothes in February. Maybe I'll even grab two to take with me in case I am able to snag a Virtual queue as well. Then instead of saving it after the first ride I can offer it to someone else as I am getting off and not have to store a wet poncho and not just throw it away and be wasteful either.

My sister and I wore our ponchos when riding Tiana last August and it kept us dry. We were in the last seat of the car and both the floor and the seat were dry. I think the front of the car is the wettest. We will try to ride Tiana if it is warm enough.

My window opens tomorrow - and have the same sorts of plans and hopes. The trick is to get an early one to start cycling through other options--I'm hoping to do Slinky early, but that may well not be available (though our HS day is day 4 of our trip, so better chances there than earlier). Also planning to rope drop MMRR. But it sounds like availability for the week was fairly good so far?

Good luck with possible modifications to make it all work--though this seems like a good starting point. And have a great trip!

I could not convince DW to try it on our upcoming trip, even with a poncho!

To be fair, though, years ago she got a sinus infection from a late-night ride on Splash at DLR that wrecked a spring-break trip for her, and she's sworn off water rides ever since. So if I ride TBA, it will be solo on this trip!

HS is my last day and Slinky was already at 3:25 as the earliest time available. Also now Tiana's is showing not available on my MK day so unless they drop more it won't be available to anyone on Wednesday the 5th. Hopefully they open more for those whose window opens over the next couple of days.

I'm fairly happy with how things went with LLMP and LLSP this morning. There was nothing available in the morning of the 5th in MK, but have a fairly good afternoon planned out with PotC, HM, and Pan--and then was able to grab an evening TRON and 7DMT (prior to the EE hours, where we'll ride the other tier 2 stuff). HS on the 7th also didn't have a lot in the morning--but did get ToT mid-morning and an early afternoon Slinky. Now I just need the next 7 days to fly by (and they will--have a busy week at work!).

Hi all! My LL window opens tomorrow and I’m conflicted- we’re doing MK on the 5th to use the extra evening hours and I specifically want to ride Tiana, Tron, Pirates, HM, 7DMT, and Jungle Cruise, although I won’t be upset if we miss that. Also little stuff like Tiki Room And Small World. If we plan to arrive at 1 and stay until midnight, do I need LLMP? Should I buy Tron or 7DMT Single Pass? Any advice is welcome!

@Wayland10 You mentioned Tiana first, so if it was me, this is what I would do:
  1. Purchase LLMP right when your window opens, book Tiana.
  2. Book a tier 2 ride for a return time that includes your 1 pm park arrival. Using this immediately will unlock your ability to book any tier of ride for your next choice.
  3. Book your next tier 2 as close to the other tier 2's time as possible so you can unlock and book another ride. For example, book the 2nd pick for a 12:30 - 1:30 tap-in, the 3rd pick for a 1:30 - 2:30 tap-in, etc.
  4. Purchase a LLSP for TRON if you want a low wait, otherwise try and ride it after sunset. It looks amazing at night.
  5. Purchase a LLSP for SDMT if you want a low wait; otherwise, ride it during HEA fireworks or near the end of After-hours.
  6. On the 5th, try arriving and tapping in at MK before 1 p.m. so that you can attempt to get the second VQ drop for Tiana's, especially if you don't purchase LLMP. Use time.gov and be in the know about how to get a VQ.
I've read mixed reports on whether or not Tiana's is open during after-hours/extra magic hours, so I wouldn't leave that to chance. Book it using the LLMP. Also familiarize yourself with how to modify LLMP's and use the VQ.

Best of luck, I hope you get them all!

@Wayland10 as a follow up to @MommaKetch 's excellent suggestions: Tiana's is closing early (at 6pm) on the 5th. It not only has not been included in EEHs recently, but is also going down early a few days over the next couple of weeks, likely for maintenance. You can check the attraction schedule here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/magic-kingdom/tianas-bayou-adventure/

Splash was often down this time of year--but since Tiana's is "new," they likely didn't want to take it completely down.

I'll be in the Orlando area 2/16-2/23 (the week before the Princess Half Marathon.) I'll be staying with my aunt, not on property- (womp womp) and I'd love a a park buddy for any of the following days in February: 16, 18, 21 & 22!

I'm a pretty big planner but I can go with the flow if you've already got a dining reservation and want company or if there are some crazy rides you don't wanna do alone or wait in line for solo. I have never ridden Rock n' Roller Coaster so if you'd like to ride with me that would be great because I'm still newly getting over my fear of thrill rides. Feel free to reach out(:

That is super helpful info. Thanks Mike!

I will add another suggestion since Tiana's closes at 6 PM on your MK day:

If you cannot get a LLMP for Tiana's at 7:00 AM tomorrow, pick another tier 1 ride you like. Then, over the next week, pop in the MDE app and play with modifying that LL and try to get Tiana's, especially the day before your MK day and the morning of. You might get lucky! People make changes and drop things.

Thank you, this is very helpful!

I know the weather will probably keep changing everyday until I leave, BUT for the last couple months, I've been checking the weather for February. It has been predicting 60's to 70's, and I was planning on pants, long sleeves and sweatshirts.

Now it's showing 70's to 80's, which I love! But now I'm not sure what to pack... Carry on only so limited space.

What is everyone else planning on wearing!?

I will bring lighter layers, but I will pack a sweatshirt or two. It was similar weather to this last year when I went, and I was most comfortable in jeans/leggings and a T-shirt, with a long-sleeve layer for the evening. If it's windy, it gets cold!

I'm pretty consistent when it comes to my park attire so it's tennis skirts and tanks/t's for me. I pack a lightweight jacket that I keep in my loungefly and that's about it! I've gone the past two years in February and I've never been colder than needing a light jacket/sweatshirt, even at night!

The struggle is real! At least when we're visiting our daughter and family in Colorado in the middle of winter I can be more confident in what I bring. Lots and lots of warm layers!

All bets are off when going to Florida in February - especially considering the crazy freezing temps of the past few weeks where we are on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. We got 7" of snow and frozen pipes last week!

Luckily we're driving to WDW so I can pack heavy and give myself lots of options, otherwise I'd really be stressing about it. I'm bringing shorts/jeans/leggings with long and short-sleeved tops. Plus a couple of sweatshirts. And heck - they're small so I'll probably throw in a pair of gloves! Hopefully I'll have my bases covered.

We spent our lives living in Northern NJ with bitter winters, but now that we've retired south I've become very familiar with the damp/humid bitter cold that we experience here. Spoiler alert: I DON'T like it.

Melt-your-face-off heat in the summer I can deal with...
Freeze-your-face-solid cold in the winter, not so much.

We are going to WDW this Sunday and the weather forecasts are looking good. It seems as if we will have lows around 60 and highs in the high 70's. I'm not going to fooled by the 80 degree forecast. It usually means that it hits that high mark at 2pm. If that forecast holds up by Saturday, the day I pack my clothes, then I'll be mostly wearing shorts/skorts and short sleeve tops. I usually wear a light jacket first thing in the morning and then plan to throw it in my bag when it warms up. I will bring a pair of lightweight slacks, too, in case the nights are chilly, or a cold snap happens. And I always pack clothes for the weather in Chicago on our departure day. So, I will have jeans and a long sleeve top that can be worn if it turns cold.
