I could not believe how expensive flights are! Over $400 Atlanta to Orlando! Hopefully I'll run across a sale, but at these rates I'll drive. It's only a 7 hour drive, not too bad if I have to.

We managed to get decently priced flights for our trip. Wasn't able to get the amazing deals that others got, but they are ok. Looking forward to Boardwalk. We are waitlisted at BC which would be even better!

Just booked my first solo trip to Disney!!! I'll be there from February 3rd to the 12th!!! Yesssssss!

Happy to find this thread and share my excitement too! We are booked Feb. 24- March 3rd at the POP. First time at Disney (in 30 years so let's say it's our first time). Me, DH, DS who will be 5, and my MIL. Booked two rooms at the POP. Thanks to these boards doing tons of research. Have my touringplans, ADRs, and FP's all planned... now just hope to get them!!!

Booked our ADRs and BBB this morning! BOG was wide open, so I was so excited I booked it twice for our trip! Will most likely change one of them today or tomorrow though....any suggestions for a nicer place that we can take our 4 year old? I've got BOG, 1900 Park Fare and Ohana. We went to Jiko's on our last trip and loved it, but figure we should try something different this trip.

In other news, I see that Cinderella's Royal Table will be closed starting in January 2015 through Spring 2015. Kind of a bummer! Good thing we crossed it off the list on our last trip. DH and I are thinking maybe a Frozen theme maybe???...that's if Cindy wouldn't mind sharing her castle.

Our trip is 2/15-2/20 with my husband, daughter (4) and son (18 months). Hoping you guys are right about Pres Week being ok crowd wise. I just booked the flights on Southwest as soon as the dates opened. Thank god too, because our nonstop flights were sold out within 2 days. Yikes.

I booked 2 of 3 tickets with points as soon as the window open but stupidly waited until the next day to purchased the 3rd ticket. The prices had already gone up and I paid almost as much for the one tickets as I did (converting points to $) for the first 2 tickets.

I am a huge planner so I get excited when another detail of the trip is finalized. My husband is not as thrilled by planning so I'll have to gush here . So far I have booked offsite accommodations (2br suite at WBC), flights, park tickets, and the rental car.

The only thing left really is ADRs, which will be more tricky since we are staying offsite and I really want a BOG dinner, stoller rental, and a (very flexible) touring plan for the parks.

New to this site and I just booked our first family vacation to Disney World - we will be there from February 22 - 28, 2015!

My husband has never been to WDW, but has been to Disneyland and California Adventures. My boys have been to Disneyland, but my younger son doesn't remember the trip well (he was 4 years old at the time).

I have been to Disneyland many times (used to have an annual pass when I was growing up) and have been to WDW three times - but the last time I was there was 15+ years ago! The parks have changed in the past 15 years.

We'll be staying at the Coronado Springs Resort - I can't wait!

Esp with CRT being closed, why not try Akershus in Epcot - they have a princess meal and a picture with Belle at the beginning. When my DD was 4 we did both CRT and Akershus and both were very enjoyable for her. Personally, I liked the smorgasbord before the meal with dinner at Akershus! Also we did an early morning bfast at Crystal Palace with pooh and friends adn that was fun for my DD then too.

Hello! I'm planning a trip in February. My trip will be part solo, part with girlfriends: Feb. 15 - March 08 . I'm still planning the details, getting ready for making ADRs later this month. It will be a Split stay at AKL Kidani, Beach Club and Bay Lake Tower. My goal is to not spend every minute in the parks and relax on my solo days. I'm known for never making it to the pool. Of course, hoping we get a few really warm days, but who knows?! I would have tried to do one of the runs but they are all sold out, and I only just started planning this trip in July. It's a bounce back (in my mind) so I can re use the annual pass I bought for our most recent trip this past June. That was a fun family trip. But yikes, so hot in June. And the rain. I'm hoping for no rain in Feb.

We may have to start the Facebook page? I saw that one labeled Disney planning for February but it did not appear to be DISers. Anyone find a DIS group yet?

I'm excited to share planning ideas with you all!

Thanks for the hint principessa. I was also havnig a hard time finding the group. The other facebook group isn't exclusive to Disboards members but there are some on there.
