Just got my tags in the mail today!!! Super psyched and excited. Tomorrow will be the official four week notice, 28 days. Sooooo close, I can almost taste it. Only thing that bothered me is that they didn't have any of my flight info but a quick phone call took care of that, thanks Disney!

I hear you! Isn't it a great feeling seeing something in the mail from Disney! Makes the adventure prior to the trip so much fun!

Thanks! Mine need to cross a bit harder. On the complete opposite end of the awesome spectrum, I just got done sending a "goodbye, jerk" text to my supposed 'boyfriend' who hasn't spoken since getting his gift on Christmas. Yes, you found out you're moving several states away in a few months. No, neglecting to say you don't want to talk again will not 'spare' my 'fragile heart'. More like you should beware my frozen heart! I though such behavior would be over with ten years out of highschool.

Guess I'm not much better venting about it to strangers on a message board, but I don't feel like facing all the pitying looks IRL just yet. 48 days to get over it and enjoy one of my favorite places on Earth! Also, horray for your travel tags starting to arrive!

That really sucks! So sorry. Were you going together to Disney or was it a solo trip from the beginning?

Thanks, actually it's a family trip. Dad still likes having those and, so far, DSis and I are not going to complain! The guy was never intended to go so at least I don't have to connect him with the trip. I never even thought about how I'd feel if he was supposed to come along.

What days are you going to be marching? That sounds awesome. Our high school band went to Disney but we didn't march in Disney, only did a competition in Florida.

I have no idea yet...either the 27th or 28th, but other than that...

We cannot wait!

I believe the parade is on Feb. 2nd. Supposed to be the winners of the Super Bowl.

the winners of the Super Bowl have a parade at the disney parks on 2/2? Assuming Magic Kingdom? Does it get crazy/should we avoid at all cost?

Yes it is. Usually the only thing that comes in the mail is bills lol Least it gets me excited about the mail and trip.

We took the kids in September and plan to go to universal next August so I don't feel too guilty about leaving them home this time. It will be our first time at Port Orleans Riverside and we are really looking forward to the royal room. Seems so silly for grown ups but I love the princess theming.

Sooo what is everyone packing??? Anything special for this time of year? I must mention that I live in south Florida and it's been pretty warm so far this winter! There was a two cold weeks in November and I've been sweating ever since!

We are in Texas and right now is our actual winter- another front comes in tonight and we drop to like 22 overnight, and stay in the 30's tomorrow.

So, I can't decide if it is going to be warm or not. When we went for our anniversary trip 11 years ago, it snowed on Valentines 2 weeks before our wedding and then the day of our wedding it was 75 degrees and in FL it was tank-top and shorts weather.

I think I am going to prepare for all seasons and watch the weather close the last week. As long as I pack 1 pair of jeans and a hoodie each, then shorts and skirts and tees will be the rest.

I started making DH and I some shirts so I can spend the money on the kid's shirts.

It is doubtful that we will get our bands before we head out because we are basically paying when we arrive. I plan on bringing nail polish and stickers so we can customize them on the first day!

We are arriving on Feb 15, but since we want to skip the crowds on Pres Day, our first park is MK on Feb 17. Anyone else braving the school break? We have no choice since DH is a teacher.

Our first ride will depend on whether I can get the pre-9AM Crystal Palace ADR I have been stalking. I have seen nothing in months so I am not holding my breath. Getting to the park an hour early for RD during a school break with two small kids sounds like a special kind of hell. If we don't get CP, we will play it by ear and probably hit our first FP, mine train, depending on how the lines look.
