*-Official February 2015 Thread-*

I believe it will be the grey goose slush in France. Then off to Japan for... Yes that's right SAKE!

I think I am going to look for Tarzan in AK so won't have much shopping time... :stir::stir::stir:

Grey goose slush is AMAZING, esp on a hot day! YUM! Thanks for reminding me about those!

We arrive 2/12 late and my DH can't come down until the evening of 2/13 so the kids and I are going to hit MK on Friday and do a lot of the shows, experiences and rides that he may not mind missing. Saving all the big rides for him to enjoy with us.

With the COLD weather working its way into New England I am dreaming of sun even more now. I made us all mickey head tie dye shirts this week and ordered vinyl overlays to spruce up our magic bands!

I am right there with you on the COLD weather! I am so ready for some Florida Sunshine and warmth!

Sounds like you and your family have a great trip planned.

I can't believe that we are heading to Disney NEXT MONTH! We leave 2/25, so it's later than a lot of you, but I can still say NEXT MONTH! :rotfl2: Anywho, we arrive kind of late that day, so we'll probably just spend the rest of the day in Downtown Disney. Or maybe we'll explore AoA because we are staying at the POP. I guess we are the outcasts . . . we will be heading to AK for our first day and we will probably ride Everest first. My birthday is the 27th and I want that to be a MK day for sure! MK is also the last park before we go home. No suitcases yet, but I'm already planning on what to put in them.

We arrive in Florida 2/24, but not in WDW until 2/27 - and AK is our first park as well! We will visit MK that evening but starting in AK for sure. Enjoy your trip, and your birthday!

ahhhh next month!

I'm actually traveling twice for work before our Disney trip, so my suitcase will be in and out over the next month anyway! I don't like to pack until the day before a trip because otherwise I lose stuff haha.

Our first park is MK, and our first fast pass is for Seven Dwarfs. :D

We will be there 2/23-2/27 for my daughter's wishtrip. I found out we have an Akershus ADR for 2/24 and I have been trying for a BOG ADR since we had our dates. No luck yet. Any other suggestions for making my princess feel like royalty? i know CRT will be closed :(

NEXT MONTH?! Saying that way makes it so much more awesome :cool1:
We just pulled down our weekly countdown- 7 weeks now!
I cant wait to hit the 30 day countdown though !eeek!

Of course we are going to go to MK first and if we don't have A&E FP+ we will try to hang out in line there maybe and then go It's a Small World because I have never been on that one.

Since we leave NJ on Friday, January 30, yesterday was officially 4 weeks (or 28 days!!!) until the trip actually starts. We're driving down and checking in on Saturday, January 31.

It's just me and my husband, and we're staying at the Boardwalk Inn, so we'll definitely walk over to Epcot first thing. I have a FP for Test Track so that's probably what we'll do first.

Weather outside here is very very nasty right now. Really looking forward to 8 days at WDW. Can't wait!!

MK seems so far to be the choice for everyone for first day visits, which is cool. I would be shocked if anyone spends there 1st day at either AK or DHS. I have never eaten a dole whip either. If I don't try one, I want a full blown report on how it was Kmorey.

Will do Captain David! Same for you, if you beat me to it! pirate:

Nice to see a NJ neighbor on here going to Disney In February! :thumbsup2
Your driving down, wow tons of credit to you. That's quite a hike, good luck to you both and safe travels.

Yes the weather is good awful outside. Doesn't seem to want to stop raining one bit. They are saying it might snow on Tuesday, so let's hope there wrong. I have never stayed in Boardwalk before, but I have a few friends who have :)

No worries, if I do try it, I shall come on here and give you a report on it. I am leaning towards at least trying it and see what the fuss is about.

I'm a little late to the game here but I just booked myself and my DF for a quick stay at SSR for the 27-2 to attend the Wedding Showcase! We are very excited but are only planning to visit Epcot this trip since it's so short and mainly dedicated to wedding possibilities. I'm also excited for February so I can book our September dates at the 7 month window woo hoo!

Welcome and sounds like you are in the midst of some fun planning!

It's never to late to play along. Sounds like you will have a boat load of fun at the wedding showcase. :goodvibes

Just booked and confirmed for both my daughter and myself.

For both of us, it is our first trip to Disneyland, or anywhere Disney.

Daughter is 5.5 and I am a young 58 and I do not know which of us is the most excited :)

We arrive Feb 26th and depart Mar 2nd...a quick "Teachers Convention" get-away from the Great White North.

Thanks neighbor! We've driven down so many times it's almost second nature to us.

Last year's trip (the first without our kids to celebrate our 25th anniversary) was our first time staying at the Boardwalk - or staying anywhere other than a Moderate for that matter. We fell in love with it (I think it's based quite a bit on the location - we found ourselves walking over to Epcot every day!)

The current plan is to leave around 4:00 p.m. on Friday, and get a good chunk of the driving in that night (maybe until 1:00 a.m. or so.) and then shoot to get to WDW by 4 or 5 p.m. on Saturday. We have a FP for Test Track at 8ish. We actually have earlier FP's for Mission Space and The Seas with Nemo, but it's really Test Track we're looking forward to!

If this year's trip can be as wonderful as last year's, I'll be happy beyond compare. And now that those darn Christmas decorations are all away, it really is time to get out the suitcase. Probably tomorrow!!

Well prepare to be shocked lol!! We will be spending our first day in AK we love that park

We are doing the same. Wanting to avoid the Super Bowl parade on our first full park day, so going to AK instead.

So what day is the parade?

I am shocked but more power to you. I happen to like AK. I love walking the trails and seeing the Tigers is one of my favorite things to do. My least favorite park is DHS.

Happy Anniversary to you both!!! What moderate resorts have you stayed at before? I have always wanted to stay at CBR. lol on the Christmas decorations. I just finished mine yesterday. Since it rained all day, I figured why not get it done. Now the house looks entirely naked, oh well. Suitcase time for you!!! Love it :cool2:

I believe the parade is on Feb. 2nd. Supposed to be the winners of the Super Bowl.
