All right Ells and Dreamport, have confirmed that there suitcases are out and ready to go, who's next...step right up ladies and gentleman...

Ok, I would like to know, two things for this Feb group...

What is the first park you intend to go to and which ride will be your first???

Suitcases are coming out tonight here! So excited for our first family trip!

Feb 1st can't come soon enough. And looking at the current Orlando weather compared to here is making me even more excited . Hoping it stays similar for our trip.

Thanks for the well-wish, Nancy. I hope a beautiful kitchen remodel is the finishing magical touch on your vacation!

You mean the monorail from the terminals at MCO isn't the first ride? Magic Kingdom is the ONLY option for a first park for us! It'll be Splash for the family and the monorail to EPCOT for me. I'll meet back up with them after (hopefully) getting a Roo plushie in England for my Godson. We have a Crystal Palace breakfast the next morning and I want to send pics of the gang playing with Roo to his mom.

Yes I know many people have always said the Monorail from the terminals at the airport is technically a ride, so you go me there LOL

Splash is an excellent start indeed, can't go wrong with that. I loved Crystal Palace last time I was there. Loved the character interaction and the food as well. I am heading to Magic Kingdom first and depending on what time I go threw everything, I was planning on hitting Peter Pan, first. I actually have a fast pass for it too, so that helps.

Thanks for playing the two question game Dreamport, and for that you win a new car: banana: No, just kidding instead you win a official bar of soap from Pops century resort. It will be sent to all winners who play the two question game lol I know, it's not much but it's the least I can do.

It was either that or a picture with me any princess of your choosing and I know most of you would rather the official bar of soap form Pop's right? Well, maybe there are some others out there who are lurking (good friend Nancy) who might want the Princess pic, but so be it...choose away winners.

And Dreamport is right, let the race begin for the packing. I know I am eyeing a day as we speak to start getting out everything. I am a nortious over-packer.

We won't pull out suitcases until a day or two before. Our cats know that suitcases mean we are leaving them and they like to leave us hairball presents in the suitcases. Gross!

Our first park will be MK. First ride ... probably Dumbo!

MK is a nice place to start any trip. Dumbo is a very nice ride and shame shame on those cats for leaving you hairball presents lol the nerve of them

My first park will most def be EPCOT and first attraction will be world showcase with an alcoholic beverage! Will post later about packing and souvenirs. Cap'n David.

Arriving on the Sunday the 1st, chilling at the resort (CBr) and checking out the pool, my son is a total water baby. then AK on Monday. Kilimanjaro safaris is on our agenda for first ride.

MK seems so far to be the choice for everyone for first day visits, which is cool. I would be shocked if anyone spends there 1st day at either AK or DHS. I have never eaten a dole whip either. If I don't try one, I want a full blown report on how it was Kmorey.

Ok I answered the first part. However I have a question...... Isn't Captain Hook fearful of clocks? Lol tick rock.

Ok now to serious business at hand with a fab WDW trip coming up within mere weeks! Packing....hmmmm suitcases...hmmmm. I don't have them out and probably will not be stepping up real soon to do so. I just hope I find time to get it packed before the 27th when I leave for work as need to take with me!

As for packing I am notorious for way over packing, but I always think I might need this or that, and would hate not to have options of what to wear!

Now for AK items I will have to ponder on that one some. All I know is I am getting a case of my favorite Caribbean beer to ship home! Cannot get it in Colorado.


Oh first character stop for me is Mary Poppins. Always have to get a photo op with her. What about everyone else?

Dole whips are the best! I think you will really like it! I like the pineapple mixed with the orange! Yummy. Can't wait!

I believe it will be the grey goose slush in France. Then off to Japan for... Yes that's right SAKE!

I think I am going to look for Tarzan in AK so won't have much shopping time...

Yes Captain Hook is afraid of clocks but I myself am not lol I'm more afraid of alarm clocks, waking me up for work

I could see you buying a big sombrero at AK or some type of wild Jungle hat. Maybe you will buy some Yeti t-shirts or even better, I have a thought, follow me around AK like you should and take my photos with all the characters lol

Shipping illegal beer to Disney Nancy, hmm isn't that against Disney policies. That's so going to get you in trouble, I'm telling or perhaps we can strike a truce for my silence. Since I am going on a solo, I think taking pictures of me with some of the characters is a fair deal. Even thou I have the memory maker it will be sort of your penance lol

First character I want a picture with will be Merida. Perhaps Miss Marie or Pluto. Either or, I'm not greedy.

I can't believe that we are heading to Disney NEXT MONTH! We leave 2/25, so it's later than a lot of you, but I can still say NEXT MONTH! Anywho, we arrive kind of late that day, so we'll probably just spend the rest of the day in Downtown Disney. Or maybe we'll explore AoA because we are staying at the POP. I guess we are the outcasts . . . we will be heading to AK for our first day and we will probably ride Everest first. My birthday is the 27th and I want that to be a MK day for sure! MK is also the last park before we go home. No suitcases yet, but I'm already planning on what to put in them.

EPCOT is our first park since we are staying at BC. Suitcases won't come out until a few days before we leave. Once our cat sees the suitcase she knows we are leaving and then the bad behaviors start. I try and keep it hidden while I am packing.

FP are all booked. No Anna and Elsa meet for us , but did get 7DMT and Splash. We have never done Splash since it is usually going through a refurb when we go.
