*Official* DWTS 2012 Thread

I'm gonna miss V-V-Val :(.

Maks was really bummed for him.

Val apologized, saying he wished he had done better for Elizabetta. You could hear people in the audience protesting  that it wasn't his fault. You can't really teach someone who is difficult to teach as Elizab*tcha. :rolleyes1

.....watched Elizabetta on youtube---no wonder George gave her walking papers---no talent, no personality, a diva---good riddance :cool1:

anyone else notice the words censored out in parts of The Script?
what is offensive in that song?
I looked up the lyrics and couldn't see what would be offensive enough to censor.
maybe the lyrics I found were wrong.

:cool1: :cool1: So far I'm 2 for 2! The audience has spoken, I'm so happy!!

I will miss Val (YUM!), but am really glad Elisabetta is gone - what a nasty, spoiled, little thing she is! She must have been just impossible to teach - Poor Val, having to cut his teeth, so to speak, on her.

I like Chaz, as a person, but honestly, really think he should go home soon. DD17 and I were discussing, last night, the possibility that if he continues on much longer, he will probably be leaving in a wheelchair - or on a stretcher! His knees just won't take it.

Finally - the Nancy Grace thing. :lmao: Ok now, I admit it, I am not a Nancy Grace fan. But when she had her wardrobe malfunction and they cut to the non-clapping audience shot, I thought, "What the heck??" (While giggling hysterically). Then I figured it out - whoever the camera tech is must be even MORE not a Nancy Grace fan than I am! :rotfl: Ok, yeah, it would be almost impossible to plan something like that in advance, but if you just happened to have some random "audience sitting there not clapping looking unimpressed" footage, and then one of Nancy Grace's girls popped out unexpectedly, forcing you to cut to a piece of back-up footage - AND you didn't like Nancy Grace and happened to be quick-thinking enough to pull out THAT piece of footage when it happened.. what a triumph!! Well, I would be impressed, anyway... :lmao:

I totally agree with you!

I admit, I was perplexed when I first saw the Nancy Grace (who I don't like as well, even though I agree with her most of the time! Just her personality is too annoying!!), and all of a sudden, you see the audience just sitting, no applause, NOTHING! I was thinking - wow, they REALLY didn't like it!

A still frame on Nancy Grace's show last night explained that all the proceeds that she earns through DWTS will be given to the Center for Missing and Expoited Children. I am not sure if it has been mentioned before so I figured I'd pass it along here. Kudos to Ms. Grace!

I find it amusing that Nancy is insisting that she did NOT have a wardrobe misfunction when the still shots show an entirely different story, lol.

Poor Tom. I think he had to "fix" Kim last season too, lol.

Yes, Kudos to Nancy for this! I don't care for Nancy's style of crucifying people before it's really known whether someone is guilty. But, if I had a missing or exploited child, she's the one I'd want helping me. When she's on a positive mission, she is great.

Where is this still shot?

Somehow, I don't think Tom minds TOO much, lol ;). In the words of Mike Roew, "It's a Dirty Job but Somebody's Gotta Do It"

I don't really watch the show (I don't think I've ever seen a full episode), but I just assumed that all the "stars" gave the money to charity - like in Celebrity Jeopardy and things like that. Do most of them keep the money?

Not trying to start a war here or get flamed but Kate Gosselin, a former contestant certainly did not give the cash to any charity. The same goes for Bristol Palin, Lil' Kim, Jeffrey Ross, Kim Kardashian or any of the others over the 12 seasons it has been on...

Whoa! Definitely not pixilated. So there is no doubt she had some slippage.

:scratchin I think the difference in Celebrity Jeopardy and other shows that have celebrity specials, versus DWTS, is that Jeopardy is a show for regular people to win money. So, when they have the celebs on, they want to make a point that the celebs already have enough money and are doing the show for fun and charity.

DWTS is a show like any other on TV in which professional "stars," <cough!> actors, entertainers and celebrities are hired to entertain us. They are paid a salary just as they normally would be for any other show on TV.
