I called this past Sunday and left a voicemail to order a cake and I still haven't heard back. How long should I wait before I call back? We leave on Wednesday this next week!

I figured it out!!!!!!!!

Okay.. This cake was made by the contemporary team. They were amazing!!!!!!!!!!! The cake looked almost identical to the picture I had sent them through email. It was and 8 inch cake. Chocolate cake with Peanut butter cream cheese filing. It was AMAZING! VERY RICH though! Cost was $130. With the tax, gratuity and delivery it came to 161 and some change. Very expensive but a once in a life timer cake! I was very happy!

I'm ordering a cake for delivery at CRT. The price difference between the cake being covered in fondant vs. buttercream is $10. I don't know which option to go with. Will my kids even like the taste of the fondant?

Any opinions would be appreciated!

We actually peeled the fondant off. They put a buttercream / frosting under it. It was suggested for design purposes I think. ;-)

Birthday cake at GFV. All total 60$ Only request was mini cake to be a little pirate themey. The chocalate was delicious with the slipper. Worth the price. Was delivered to our room before we even got there.

I just opened a photobucket account. It's free. Then uploaded the pictures I wanted to it. Then click on the picture on photobucket. On the right hand side you will see some websites listed. Click on the 3rd one and copy it. Then go back to your disboards post and paste it there. That's how I did mine. Good luck!

A few questions:
My daughter will turn 5 while we are at disney (first trip!) the night of her actual birthday we will be at San Angel Inn and later in the week we will have a special birthday dinner at CRT. If we order dessert off the menu at San Angel, will they sing to her? How about CRT? I was planning on ordering the chocolate slipper for her to have that evening. Thanks!

I honestly can't remember if the CMs/waitstaff sang Happy Birthday but it seemed like they made a big fanfare out of even the free birthday cupcakes. We always started singing Happy Birthday when they lit the candle so if they sang, we were too loud to notice (it happens with our group LOL)! If you order the dessert and remind the host/hostess and/or your waitperson discreetly so they know it's for a kid I would hope they'd do a little fawning!

Love this cake! Especially the recreation of the wallpaper! I think I might have to plan a trip on our "1/2" anniversary so that I can justify the theming!

I am so glad I found this thread!!! We have 2 trips coming up this spring/summer and lots of celebrating to do : )

I have 2 questions for now!

1. I love the mini cake w the light up castle. Is this available at the MK resturants?

2. I thought I read something about copy right and the characters from Frozen. I asked my dd what kind of cake she wanted for her 1/2 bday and of course the only thing she wants is an Anna and Elsa cake!
