When having your cake delivered to a restaurant can you ask to have the cake on a separate bill? I wouldn't think this is a big deal, but I'd really prefer to have the cake listed on a separate bill to not confuse my mind lol. I just want the cake to NOT be included in any automatic gratuity or even the suggested. I always just pay over the suggested tip anyways and got myself into a little tizzy last time because I was so tired and I didn't know what to tip for the meal. Call me cheap but I don't want to tip the cost of the cake since the waiter/waitress had nothing to do with it anyways. All they did was bring it out, and there seems to not be any way to get a tip to the baker anyways.
I feel the same way, but I haven't had the chutzpah to try asking them to split it out yet. Wanna be our guinea pig?

No more cake photos? Is there no longer a list?![]()
This thread is full of cake photos...?

Anyone know if you can have a cake delivered to BOG?
The answer in the last few weeks has been no.
If you get a cake at MK will they take it to your resort like Pop?
No, but you can!
ETA: Can you add a wc topper for a fancy 6in cake? I don't actually care about having fondant. I just want better flavors and minnie and mickey anniversary statue![]()
It depends on which topper you're talking about and whether it will fit on a 6-inch cake. They'd probably sell it to you and just put it on the plate if it came to that...
I am considering ordering a mini cake for DD's birthday dinner at CRT. But we have a late reservation that is past her bedtime, so I am continuing to check to see if I can get a better time, even if it's on a different date. Can you change your delivery time/date? If so, how much notice is needed?
Yes. I'd give them as much notice as possible and not cut it any closer than 48 hours.
Ok, I realize that this post/question may seem almost blasphemy, but is there somewhere OFF site that makes really, really, really good cakes/cupcakes?
The following places all have been recommended by Disney World brides, though I haven't tried any of them: Anna Cakes, Bake Me a Cake, It's Tasty Too, and Sprinkles.
I wanted to order a slipper for my friends CRT dinner and there is no way for me to pre-pay to do it without it showing up on their bill. According to the CRTSpecial Events email. has anyone else had any luck?
Not that I've seen here...
Also wondering if you can order custom cupcakes. Anyone know?
I'd call the number (Post #2) for the place where you're dining and ask. They're the only ones who can give you a definitive answer.
Is it possible to have a custom cake delivered to Tusker House in Animal Kingdom?
Yes, see post #2. However, DHS' bakery (which makes cakes for Tusker House) doesn't offer anything really fancy.
ok, so am I correct that I need to call BWI to order a specialty cake for Flying Fish?
Yep!
I'm thinking about ordering a cake for our April trip when it gets closer and considering requesting the Bailey's mousse. I haven't seen too many cakes with that flavor...has anyone had it and would you recommend it? Thanks!
Many of the brides on the Weddings & Honeymoons board seem to like it.

First post ever! Will be at WDW in June with family for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. I booked ADR at Aloha Luau as a surprise for them. I want to order a cake, see I will be ordering from GF. We have 10 in our party so I'm thinking the 10 inch cake, right? I need ideas for design, am not creative. No fondant, probably yellow cake with choc buttercream filling. Suggestions for decor welcome.
Disney doesn't offer yellow cake, just white cake. Since you aren't interested in fondant, I'd suggest ordering from the Polynesian. It can be an easier process.
