Can the mini two tiered cakes(wedding cakes) that I've seen pictured be personalized on a "mini" scale? I'm wondering if I can get one themed Snow White for my daughters Bday while we are there in June. I really don't want a photo placed on it but something 3D. If so, where would this be available and who would I contact?
Also, I saw that the Snow White white chocolate figures are available, can you just purchase them without purchasing a cake? Again, where would I do this?
thanks

$65?! :scared1: You know, the GF bakers I spoke to were giving me the figure list off the top of their heads, so it could be that they just didn't mention Jedi Mickey, thinking no one would want it for a wedding cake. ...Although who would want a realistically painted RAT like Remy atop their wedding cake either? :rotfl:

I must agree with the Remy! I wanted to clarify that they weren't just quoting Jedi Mickey at that price, but ALL of the figurines.

I have finally finished ordering my cakes. Here are the concepts that I gave the bakers to work with. I drew them a pic but can't seem to get that on here.

My sons birthday cake is going to look like Mickey's pants. On top of the pants will be a set of Mouse ears with his name on them. There will be little plastic characters from Clubhouse disney around the cake. This is going to cost around 90.00 and feed about 10-12.

I am having an special anniversary cake delivered to our dinner at California Grill. It is going to resemble our top tier. It is going to be 6", red velvet with chocolate ganache filling. White fondaunt and a burgundy ribbon and bow at the base along with words that mean something to use written on it and two copper/bronze colored roses on top. We incorporated a rose ceremony at our wedding so I wanted to incorporate this into the cake. The 8th wedding anniversary is copper/bronze one so that is the reasoning for the colors. Quoted at $65.00. Too excited! Will figure out how to post when I get the pics!

Sounds exciting! Can't wait to hear how they turn out. :thumbsup2

I had a great experience with the Yachtclub Bakery on our last trip. I special ordered a Haunted Mansion cake to be delivered to the Yachtsman Steakhouse for my stepson and his girlfriends birthday. I ordered a 10" marble cake with white chocolate mousse filling and chocolate buttercream icing. I had a specific cake design in mind already and I was hoping that they could make it. I called and spoke to a great gal named Yvette. She was so helpful. I asked it I could email over some pictures and ideas and she said sure. I sent over 4 pictures and instructions on what components I wanted from each one. I wanted the streching room portraits, hitch hiking ghosts, wallpaper around sides, and balck- red flowers. She forwarded it to the baker and promptly got back with me with a confirmation and price. I was soooooo happy with the cake. It turned out great! It was beautiful and delicious! Everyone at the restaurant commented on it! I could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone! I will try and post a picture.

The price was $120 and I was able to use my Tables in Wonderland card for the purchase.

When my cake is delivered to CRT, I know I'll have to pay the price + tax + tip. But who does that tip go to? CakeManBri who spent the time to make the cake or the server who just brought it out?

Can anyone advise what my cake options are for CRT? Is it just the little cake in the jewelry box, or do any of the resort bakeries deliver there? We'll be having lunch there on DD's third birthday.
The Contemporary Bakery supplies the cakes for Magic Kingdom.

Hi
wow there are beauttyful cakes in this cake thread :thumbsup2
I'm leaning for a mickey cake we will see for DGD who will turn 2 in sept ..but a day after her dad will have his birthday and we would like a regular nothing fancy cake
I have a question do every restaurants still have a regular ( not fancy ) birthday cake how much is it ?? any picture ??
thanks

Hi cake fiends! I ordered a custom cake (to serve 2) from the GF but the ordering process went so fast, I didn't really end up with anything I had intended and I've decided it's not worth the expense, so I am going to cancel it.

Thus my question is about the mini castle cake. We are staying at the GF and I have seen that the order should be placed 48 hours prior. For this, do I just call general GF private dining, or do I use the number I was given to order the custom cake?

Thanks for all your insights and pictures!

It goes to the server.

Yes—every restaurant has a 6-inch "celebration cake" in vanilla with vanilla frosting or chocolate with chocolate frosting for $21. They look like this:

(We asked them to write "bon voyage" before they brought this out. It took about 15 minutes)

It's the same number.... and if by chance it isn't the same number, it goes to the same place. :thumbsup2

Maybe a question that has been coverd, but what about getting a cake at T-rex? Since it's just four of us, I thought that we could have lunch there for DS 4th birthday. (and then have cake again for dinner :rotfl: ) So I guess my question is who makes that cake/ where does it come from?

You'd probably have to call T-Rex since it is owned/operated by Landry's and not a WDW restaurant.
