Anyone else "see" McKlutskey movin' in with Lynette & family

That is totally going to happen or McKlutskey is going to live in Ida's old house...

My friends and I were discussing what happened to Toby. I think Lynnette was horrible for what she did with Toby, I guess thats why she is one of my least favorites. I agree with the PP that said they wished Toby would jump out of a tree and scratch her.

Since Tom didn't have his inhaler, having a cat around him could have possibly been life threatening. Lynnette didn't actually put the cat outside, she just took it upstairs. The cat ran away when the door flew open. I love cats, but I think even I would remove the cat from the basement if my DH couldn't breathe.

Only the one house destroyed though, right? In the closing shot most of the houses are still standing, some are damaged. It's no different then when Susan's house burnt down--wasn't that Edie's doing?

I thought it was the other way around. Didn't Susan burn Edie's house down? Or is that what you meant?

It happened both ways, except with Susan it was an accident, and Edie did it on purpose.

I know Victor died; he's the husband....but who was the friend?

Why wouldn't they tell us before the episode ended? Ugh!

I think it will be Ida. She'll die, and we'll find Lynettes family safe and sound.

It was one of the last episodes of the second season when Edie found out about Susan and Karl.

That's exactly what I thought. Isn't the most potent pain reliever given to a pregnant woman usually tylenol? She didn't look like she was in too much pain either.

I do wonder what the reasoning is behind destroying all the homes though

I read an interview w/Dana Delaney in TV Guide and it mentioned that Mark Cerry wanted to redesign the set so he destroyed it with the tornado. The article also mentioned that there is one more finished episode after the one we saw last night.

It has to be Ida....there was a lot of conversation with Lynette, McKlusky and Ida about friends. We saw Lynette & McK at the end, but no Ida.

Or, maybe they are 'losing' Mike to rehab

Yes, it probably was Gabby who lost the husband, Victor (I think he's the Mayor). Being impaled by a fence picket usually would kill a person, but you never know.


At first I thought maybe the husband and the friend were the same person, but I don't think Victor was friends with anyone on Wisteria Lane.

I was also thinking the husband and friend would be the same person. I really thought it would be Tom, but it looks like it's Victor. To me, that's a cop out to say someone would lose a husband since Gabby was divorcing him. I'm thinking the friend will be Ida, although I think that will be a cop out too, since I don't think she was truly a friend, more like a neighbor.

I'm usually a put-people-before-animals type of person, but I thought she was completly out of line. She pushed her way into that house. She should have had a safe place in her own house. They could have put the cat in another part of the basement. And for her to let penny keep making all that noise was atrocious. And why was the cat loose upstairs? Did she take him out of the carrier? Although it had to happen so that someone was out of the house. If they were all trapped in there it could be awhile before anyone realized it.

We were at Universal Studios last week and the tram tour took us through Wisteria Lane where they shoot the outside shots for Desprate Housewives. The tour guide told us to look closley at the homes because of the tornado they were busy fixing them. He said to look closley to figure out which one was missing (at the time I couldnt figure it out). I have pictures where you can see Carlos and Gabbys house has damaged they have not fixed yet. They were working on the outsides of the houses while we were there. All the lawns were in pretty bad shape as well.

Yeah, I noticed that last night and thought it was weird, a little literary license for the storyline I guess.
