I was thinking that last night about Danielle...they didn't call her Miss Van de Tramp for nothing.

I really think Edie is gone. She was originally only supposed to be in 10-15 episodes, but got extended, then they used her more with Marcia Cross being out on maternity leave....but really what is left for her story? Now that Mike and Susan are married, there is no man competition for them, she never really had much of a relationship with either Lynette, Bree or even Gaby...she was more of a foil for Susan, they wouldn't hook her up with Tom or Orson and I think the ultimate plan is to get Carlos and Gaby back together, so.........no more Edie.

Plus, even though, I think it is was way out of character to have Edie commit suicide, I think Marc Cherry really did her in.

Just THINK though....how FUNNY would it be for Edie to do some of the narrating like Mary Alice does! Edie's take on Wisteria Lane from the grave has alot of potential!

But, Carlos and Gaby didn't take the baby, as it wasn't Carlos' child. It would obviously be Danielle's if she gave birth to it. That is immediately what I thought when Bree was faking her pregnancy... the baby is going to be interracial!

I just wonder what will happen if when Danielle delivers, it turns out that it was Matthews (I think that is right).

Wow, I didn't even think of that one! That would be a good story line, I can just imagine Bree's reaction! My thought was that even though Danielle is really bitter now, she may change her mind after having the baby and decide that she wants to raise it herself.

Also, I can't believe Edie would kill herself over a man like that. She didn't really seem to be in love with Carlos and has had plenty of other men. I also saw her on a talk show last week, and she didn't mention anything about leaving the show, but she did say that she was sworn to secrecy about the plot.

If she DID commit suicide, I wonder if it had more to do with the dream she had with her mother telling her that she was going to be old & alone rather than Carlos breaking up with her.

That's possible. Next season might open with her mom knitting in a chair next to her telling her how silly & dramatic she's being and then Edie wakes up. hhhmmm...

Wasn't Matthew the son of ___________ (can't remember her name) but the brother Caleb was kept in the basement.

I wasn't thinking Matthew, that's been too long ago. I thought maybe the teacher that she was sleeping with but that still seems like too long ago. Either way, should be interesting.

This is from the episode recap on ABC.com; Distraught over her breakup with Carlos, Edie leaves a note for him and then appears to hang herself. I hope that Edie's not dead. I really liked her character.

My EXACT thoughts. I said "Bree is only pretending to be pregnant so they can adopt the daughter's kid and it will turn out to be Matthews" as soon as Bree showed up "pregnant". DD was Shocked when they took off the fake belly

We'll have to wait til next season.....

I'm so glad Susan and Mike are married. It was so romantic and sweet. Very original setting, etc. They won't have to top the other weddings mow.

I really have a problem with Susan's relationship with her daughter, though. That kid acts more like the mother. Seems like her story line sizzled out several times.

I believe the father of Danielle's child is Austin, Edie's nephew. He was sleeping with her at the same time he popped Julie's cherry. I wonder if he knows about the baby. I think he does not.

Great season finale. I wonder what will happen with Victor and Gabby and Carlos. I was surprised she did not like the thought of being the wife of the governor (or was it senator?). She seems to enjoy the power and attention.

I hope Edie is not dead. She is a delicious villain, so minipulative. She is too smart to commit suicide.

What will I do without my Sunday evening housewife fix, more DIS time, or will I actually get a life? Who knows?

That would be HILARIOUS!! Here's Bree putting on this charade that she and Orson are pregnant and then she'll 'give birth' to a baby that's half African American. Busted!

I really do think it's Austin's baby, but I think this whole scenario will make for some FUNNY episodes when Bree is supposedly giving birth. I also think (knowing Danielle's character) that she'll probably come back early and blow the whole thing.

Danielle's baby's daddy is Edie's nephew, Austin and yes, Orson made him leave town and Danielle (till she had the baby). It can't be Matthew's baby, as he "died" this time last year.....too much time has passed for it to be his.

I remember Lynette's concerns with opening the pizza place...that they were sinking all their savings into the restaurant, but like mentioned, "Rick the chef" was bringing in the cash....what Tom didn't want ("dishes"...he just wanted to serve pizza & sketty)
