Sure did!

I enjoyed the ending.

I didn't enjoy Lynette (crying in the bathroom) or Gabby's (getting yelled at by her future husband) stories though.

I kind of thought Lynette crying was kind of like a crossroads for her....she has been the everything in this relationship while Tom just kind of sits back and reaps the benefits....and now she has had to add a child that is not ever her own to the family....it will be interesting to see what she has (dr's office visit)

Gabby went way overboard with the ripping of the tickets deal...and he seems somewhat sinister now...

were the guys who robbed Lynettes the same as who beat up the meter reader?

Mike and Susan....we all knew it would end like that didn't we?

And Carlos did a good thing for the boy, but not so great for himself....

That's how I felt about it. I actually thought it was a very emotional scene.
I took it as her feeling that she is always taking care of everyone else by being a wife & mother (including Tom's "needs" - remember the scene when he wanted her to "just take care of him" when she got home from the restaurant a few episodes ago!)

Anyway, she was escaping from reality for a bit through her dinners & conversations with Rick. Once she realized that it wasn't as innocent as she felt she ended it, but she felt a loss for the "fantasy" that she lived for a few hours each day. Now she's back to being Lynette - the wife & mother.

Not sure if what she was doing was right or wrong as a married woman, but I perceived her crying as feeling a loss for her "reality escape".

She talked about not crossing that line, but honestly, I think she did - she crossed it emotionally it when she started lying to Tom about what she was doing, rather than going home to her family. Now, Tom was being a schmuck through this ordeal so I get her need to escape the stress of him, their crazy kids and the restaurant, but she knew that she was getting emotionally involved and she knew that Rick had feelings for her. That's dangerous territory.

Lillygator - I thought that the thugs were the same guys too. Seemed like it anyway. I agree - there's something sinister about Victor, but then, that seems about right for the character they were setting him up to be. I'm guessing he's no choir boy; it's all about the image.

Poor dumb Carlos, getting himself into a relationship for all the wrong reasons.

Yeah, I think eventually Gabby is going to realize Victor isn't near as nice as he has been portraying (up till this point) and she's going to want out. I have a feeling Victor will not be an easy man to leave, especially if they are married, and that Carlos may have to come to her rescue. Maybe it won't be as dramatic as the scenario that is playing in my head, but it is DH so we shall see!

I just love Mike!!! Do I really need to elaborate anymore about that? ;)

I was thinking the same thing. I got the creeps when he was reprimanding her for being childish, etc. And the way she apologized to him, it seemed like he was showing his power over her. Then, when he saw the bruise, he seemed more concerned that it showed. I'm afraid they may be going toward an abusive relationship. But, yeah, I hope Carlos sweeps in and saves the day!

Those thugs that attacked the cop were the same guys that broke into Scavo's Pizza. I have a feeling that Victor hired them to attack that cop guy for the bruise he gave Gabbi. Maybe Victor is a "bad man" in disguise.....LOL. This show can be so predictable. I'm thrilled about Mike and Susan!!!!!

I thought the episode last night was really good. I loved how Gabby and Susan agreed to the double wedding and then agreed to not have the double wedding.

I started to tear up when the doctor told Lynette that she may have cancer. I loved how they showed Tom grabbing her hand after she had refused to hold his hand just moments before.

Next week's finale should be good !

I missed the last 10 - 15 minutes of last night's episode. Could someone give me a recap. The last scene I saw was Tom throwing Lynette off the bed. TIA.

I missed the entire episode last night and forgot to set my DVR to tape it! Anyone know if it will repeat during the week at all?

Looks like next week Carlos and Edie possibly break up:cool1:

I hate that whole storyline:Let's have a baby together even though Carlos doesn't love you and doesn't even really want to live with you. I want a baby even though I already have a son that I only want to see once a year:confused3

I just can't wait for Bree to come back. It looks like she might be coming back with implants. :lmao: Everyone else is boring.

I am so over Susan's ridiculous drama
Carlos is the best! I also cant wait for Bree's return!

but didn't Edie still take her BC pill and hide them from Carlos? She's just trying to get him to think they are going to try to have a baby because he wants a baby really badly. she doesn't really want a baby ~ It's the only way she can get him to stay with her

I miss Bree too! Can't wait to see her again!

Yes, she was still taking her BCP's.

It will be nice to see Bree again in the last episode.

I was totally choked up when Tom took Lynette's hand in the Dr's office. It just got to me for some reason, especially after the scene in the waiting room.

i really teared up when she was tucking Parker in. :sad1:

Wow, Edie is just desperate (but I guess it is DESPERATE Housewives ;)). A little sad, actually, to see her throwing herself at him like that.

They certainly are setting up a reunion for Gabby and Carlos, which is good. They still love each other, even if she can't admit it. My guess is she'll break up with Victor and then he'll get all creepy stalker on her.

It will be great to see Bree again!

okay...don't shoot me, :duck: but i just finished watching DH (had to tape it cuz we were at Hersheypark for Mother's Day)...but anyway, the previews looked like somebody (man) was getting run over in a car.....i paused and watched in slow mo....the man looks like Victor! ....ya think.....to "end" that story w/ him?? :confused3 Carlos could be really upset or drunk and run him down (he looked like he was "flagging" someone down for help w/ car trouble--is what i assume).....

i didn't think lynette should have been 'mad' at tom....he really didn't DO anything....(except the buddy from college at lunch ...physiciatrist).... but, this will put things in perspective for her now.

and i am finally glad to see susan and mike happy.....about time!
