Charmaine?

Do you mean Xiou or Xhou-Men (Mein?)? I have Asian students and Xian is pronounced Shawn or Sean.

Charmain is a totally different spelling.

Wow! Talk about the spelling police. I am lucky if I remember a characters name, let alone a Chinese spelling of it. Next time I am watching with the closed captioning on and see how they spell it. :teeth:

Ok.. here's my Orson theory:

He was in prison, the same one as Mike. Mike will eventually remember him, which is why he tried to kill him.

I don't think Orson was a dentist in the prison, I think he was just another inmate, but what is his crime??? Something against women I think.

I think the lady he is visiting was maybe a victim of his. The way he said Bree's name really creeped me out and he used her full name too.

I know!! Poor Bree another crazy one. :sad2:

What IF the person he is visiting IS a friend or relative and Orson retaliated on the person who hurt her and got busted and went to jail? :confused3 How's that idea????

that's a good one too, but then that would make him a good guy and he just doesn't seem like a good guy to me!!

that is a good theory. Orson seems so creepy though in that George the pharm kind of way. And if Bree escaped from the nut house, wouldn't they have shown up at her house that same night? or do they just let you go?

 Maybe they saw the news and said, "Oh, yeah, I guess her daughter really was out with a murderer, maybe we better stay out of it from here"

I guess maybe they will let the nut house storyline go? Or maybe Orson will do something to Bree to really put her in there. Mayeb he's related to George! No wait, he was an only child wasn't he?

I don't know, now Orson has something to hold over Bree's head and I think there is something to the woman he was sitting with.

I don't know for sure and of course anything is possible on TV, but she checked herself in so I don't think they can do anything about it.

I wondered if there would be a time switch since they have moved Amazing Race to Sunday nights now too. Are they on the same station? Wait, now I can't remember :rotfl: Anyway, I would personally like it if they weren't on at the same time ;)

DH is on ABC and AR is on CBS.

DYCT?

did you catch that?? :rotfl:

I don't like the new AR time. I like it when it's on Wed. Of course they're probably moving it b/c AI will be back on and it's on Wed.

SRUAlum, here's how it's going to go:

AR is on at 8 pm on CBS. DH is on at 9 pm on ABC (EST). Theoretically, even us completel couch potatoes should be able to handle changing the channel via remote. HOWEVER, here is the reality: CBS does football Sunday afternoons from Sept. to Jan. It's not uncommon for the games to run over their alloted time. When the game ends, CBS THEN starts 60 minutes, which is technically in the 7 pm slot, but might start as late as 7:45 or even later. AR will run AFTER 60 Minutes has run in its entirety. Now, this may not be a problem for TIVO-ers, if you can tape 2 channels simultaneously (I don't know, don't have it). But it might be a problem for those who want to watch both shows in real time, or those wusses like me who go to bed at 9 pm but absolutely couldn't tear myself away from AR. Plus, I can't let my AR fan kids stay up past 9 on a school night--DD11 has to get up at 6 as she starts middle school this fall.

Anyway, I'm sure that's clear as mud, but there you have it.

Thanks! I am a complete couch potato, but also have DVR which has been a lifesaver since I am a teacher and have to get up at 5:30 during the school year. (However, I am a night person and still end up staying up until 11 or 12 many nights- bad teacher!) Thanks for helping me manage my couch potatoedness ;)

PS Actually, depending on when DH and AR start this fall, we will have Big Brother to add in there at 8:00 too through the month of September I think  :guilty:

The thing is, BB7 is also on CBS--it won't conflict with AR, but will have the same football problem.
