****Official December 2011 Thread****

We are going to be there for Neil Patrick Harris!!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I freaked out when I saw that today! Very, very excited to be seeing him!

We saw that too and DH and I decided to go ahead and go see him!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Also D23 announced their Magic and Merriment dates and they are for the same time frame, so we are going to try our very best to get tickets for that too :banana:

Sooo Excited now!

So cool to see the schedule for the Candlelit Processional! One of our favorite WDW events! We are heading there for the week after Thanksgiving...celebrating 10 Magical Years! 7th trip in 6 years! LOVE IT!

Ooh, two separate event dates this year! That's great considering they usually sell out immediately. I'm excited to see the itinerary for each set of dates!

Yes! I am going to be like a hawk the morning they come out on sale. I reaaaally want to go this year. Best of luck to all my fellow DISers who try and get tickets. I hope my connection is fast and at the ready that day :worship::rotfl2:

I got all my ADR's today. Had to switch lunch and dinner in order to get fantasmic package, which is completely fine. When we went last year in August I wasn't able to get in at all and was expecting worse with this being "the busiest week of the year". Now I'm waiting for CP packages, what all resteraunts offer CP packages? We are booked for Les Chefs de France for now. So excited!!

Below are the participating restaurants from last year. Although you cannot convert regular dining reservations into a CP package, many guests will book ADR reservations separately for a particular restaurant they hope to get as a CP package. That way, in case they are unable to snag their favorite restaurant as part of the CP, they are still able to eat there at some point during their vacation.

For Disney Dining Plan Guests: Candlelight Dining Packages will require 2 Table Service Entitlements.

-- Lunch Packages range from $32.99-$51.99 per adult and $12.99-$17.99 per child. Participating restaurants include: Biergarten, Rose & Crown, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Nine Dragons, San Angel, Marrakesh, Teppan Edo & Tokyo Dining, Chefs de France and Tutto Italia.

-- Dinner Packages range from $46.99-$61.99 per adult and $15.99-$23.99 per child. Participating restaurants include: Biergarten, Garden Grill, Rose & Crown, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Nine Dragons, San Angel, Marrakesh, Teppan Edo & Tokyo Dining, Chefs de France and Tutto Italia.

Your lunch or dinner package includes: appetizer, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage (OR full buffet where applicable); guaranteed seating at the Candlelight Processional show; pre-arranged Fireworks Viewing Area. NOTE: Candlelight Dinner Packages do NOT include theme park admission.

Thank you, Thank you Thank you. This is great info.

We are very disappointed with the announcement of CP Dining Package restaurants for this year. No LeCellier, Garden Grill, Coral Reef or Biergarten. Maybe they inadvertently left these out and will add them before the booking starts on July 26th???? Only one restaurant that we would want-- Teppan Edo
but with four fewer participating I guess ADRs will be harder to come by.

Our EPCOT day is still TBD, I wonder who it'll be.....I love for it to be John O'Hurley but doesn't he usually do the first show or so if he does do it?

So glad Disney released an update with all the places we wanted for CP added.... now just have to wait for July 26th!

I'm jumping on board! This will be our first trip at Christmas time, and we're very excited for lower crowds and heat (we usually go in the summer). I look forward to reading everyone's tips and planning with you! We'll be at Old Key West in a 2 bedroom 12/3 to 12/7 with me, DH, DS7 and DS4. My mom and dad might join us too! Happy planning everyone!

We're going in December too! This will be our biggest, craziest trip ever since we're going from the 16th-26th (10 days!), staying in THREE places (Contemp., Yacht, and POP) and it's over Christmas, the fabled worst time of the year.

Oh yeah. :cool1:

I'm so happy to have found this board. It's putting my planning into overdrive! Our Dec. trip will be the first with the kids and I'm so excited my hubby agreed the extra expense of the Poly will be worth it. My youngest is one so I really wanted to be on the monorail.

Welcome to the dis! You will love it here. So much invaluable info. My youngest was 10 mos. when we 1st went and it was wonderful. So many rides have no height requirement then there are the shows. Our baby had fun. Just make sure you know where all the baby care centers are and utilize them. They are great for when baby is cranky, hungry or overwhelmed. Our family would take a break in them with the baby. I miss the convenience and comfort of the baby care centers.

December 5-10!

It's my first trip to Disney World, and I am SO excited. My dad and I have been going to Disneyland together for the past 3 years in early December for a father/daughter Christmas vacation and always have a blast. I've never imagined getting to go to Florida though - just never in the cards. It's a short trip, but I'm just happy about getting to be there and having the experience.

We're staying at AKL which might be more exciting to me than any of the parks, lol. I hope it doesn't disappoint, which based on reviews and things I've read I don't think it will. :)
