hi! yes, will get you guys added!
I was just told by a CM on the phone that all CPP require 2 table service credits from the DDP. Doesn't seem reasonable that lunch at a Tier 1 restaurant would cost as many credits as dinner at a tier 3 restaurant. If anyone used DDP last year for CPP and knows if all tiers require 2 credits, please let us know.
Also, any news about narrators for the days that haven't been announced yet?
Thanks

yes, i think that is how it was last year and if i was on the dining plan, not sure I would use 2 credits, just not a good value (unless you just have extra you are trying to get rid of). i haven't seen anymore news on the narrators yet, though i am anxiously awaiting too!

Ahhh, that sounds nice. I had to work which means running errands for the people at my law firm who don't seem to think about the temp outside when they have me go out to do something that really doesn't need to be done.
ouch- i so what is the temp in vegas this time of year? I've been in july, but it's been years. i remember it was such a different heat than what we are used to here in Dallas (much like florida with the humidity). the dry heat was hard for me to get used to! i am heading to Vegas in 2 weeks- staying at the Wynn the 24th-28th for work. Hoping to fit in a little craps hopefully and fun! love Vegas- DH and I got married at Mandalay Bay almost 10 years ago!
It took three calls and some improvising but we got free dining. Originally Dec. trip was the 3rd thru the 11th at POFQ. Exactly the black out dates for free dining. The first cm: free dining only thru 10/2/10. Even when given the code he insisted that no free dining it ends 10/2/10. The second call the cm said we could not arrive on the second and extend dining through our trip. The third cm named "JULY" was wonderful. Yes we can arrive Dec. second and get free dining through our trip. We were not able to get POFQ

but we did get CBR. Get this: Originally had 30% off POFQ for 8 nights DXDP. Now have CBR 9 nights DXDP and It is still $400.00 less that original Pkg. ( adults, one 11 year old (adult DP) and 1 Child). We can not arrive until the 3rd but it is still less paying to not use the hotel room one night and adding a night of dining. More meal credits for signature dining. We will miss POFQ though.
Just goes to shoor the answer you are looking for. LOL. Got to love it.
just goes to show you have to try again sometimes by calling back. every CM is different- and keep in mind not all are in the same location of course (many remote), so you never know who you will get or what information they have in hand. I can tell you, after working for disney myself, sometimes communication was a definite struggle internally. glad you finally got a knowledgeable one!
I was getting ready to post the same thing. We booked thinking we could come 2 days later (just pay for the 2 nights we'd miss). The CM told me that if you don't check-n within 24 hours of your reservation you are considered a no-show and you entire reservation is cancelled.

So, we are having to change our plans. No AKL for us! I'm sure the CM got it right because she put me on hold to double check the policy. She couldn't figure out any way around it for us.
yep, they will cancel your room/reservation for the whole trip if you do not check in on your slated date. I know many people do this in vegas- they book multiple rooms at different hotels (usually comped) just to get the freebies that come with the deal (like casino credits) and they don't really use the room, yet you do have to check in personally still. disney is the same. heck, the Gaylord here in the DFW area actually cancelled our room on us for a holiday party Dh's work hosted there. Due to the awful traffic (for the ICE display), we arrived to the party late and went to check in at like 9pm and they had given our room away already- even though it was still the same arrival date, just not late arrival (and they were overbooked). just one of the main people on the reservation would have to check in- i don't know that it requires everyone to be there.
