Finished booking our ADRs today just the sleigh ride at FW to book now!

And look what came in the post yesterday..

MVMCP tickets!! last year we were told they couldn't be posted internationally and had to pick them up at a Will Call booth once we got there - so I was surprised when they arrived, just two days after ordering them

We received our MVMCP tickets this past Tuesday. I was so excited to get them. The family are already trying to decide who gets which card. We got Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.

Hello Fellow December Disney Friends,
i would love your thoughts on my itinerary for the week. We were just there in march of 2010, but my parents are coming this trip for the first time in over 25 years
We are staying at the yacht club, first time there.

Sun 12/5: arrive spend the day at HS and then Garden Grill 6:35

Mon 12/6: AK day, RFC 1:15, leave after parade and then just hang out at resort/pool dinner at Cape May Cafe 6:35

Tues 12/7: Crystal Palace 8:05 spend the morning in MK until around noon, head back to resort and relax and then back to MK around 4:30 eat at cosmic rays and the MVMCP

Wed 12/8: sleep in, nothing on the agenda early dinner at 1900 park fare at 4:30 and then back to MK for parade

Thurs 12/9: whatever in the morning, then lunch at Mama Melrose at 2 with Fantasmic package, stay in HS see lights and then Fantasmic

Fri 12/10: no agenda all day and then hoping for Candlelight processional package in Epcot with Lecelliur as first chose, unsure of option 2

Sat 12/11: left open to do what we missed or want to do again and then get picked up at 5:30 for airport

Any thoughts, tips, advice???

Re: your hopes for 12/10. We have a 1 week Dec trip booked and I will try for the CPP for one of two nights. I am booking an ADR for each of those nights (the first is already booked) and when I find out which date I can get the best choice for CP I will book that and cancel the back-up ADR that I'm holding for that night. I know that you can not convert a regular ADR into a CP package. Since it is difficult to book my top choices in EPCOT for dinner at this time (because they are holding back so many spots for the CP) I have booked a Boardwalk area ADR.

Does anyone know how long a meal at 'Ohana typically lasts? I know it's family styls, so I didn't know if they sped you through. I'm just wondering where we can catch wishes, at the beach, or in the restaurant.

Does anyone know how long a meal at 'Ohana typically lasts? I know it's family styls, so I didn't know if they sped you through. I'm just wondering where we can catch wishes, at the beach, or in the restaurant.

It can be a long meal. My kids spent half the time doing the dances and activities so we were there for about 2 hours. We never felt rushed but we were a party of 10, it was Christmas night, and it was one of the kids in our parties bdays. The first time we ate there it wasn't as long but it was over an hour that we were there.

WOOOHOOO so doing the happy dance I got Le Celier for 12/18 at 6:20!! I even over slept and didn't get online until after 6:30. Worst part was I had no clue where we wanted to eat. All I knew is that we were going to be in Epcot so I put in a time our party size and told the kids and DH what was available. Not even realizing that LC was on there because I had wanted it for later in the week. DH said Vic book it now because you've never been able to get it any other time its there just do it. DUHHHHHHH

This is exactly how we are planning our AK day on Dec 4. Tusker breakfast at 8:15 then Ohana at 5:25. We have only been 1 other time. If I remember correctly, we had a little wait. Maybe 15 minutes or so. Once we were seated they keep bringing you food even when you are not nearly finished so it goes by fast. I think it was about an hour. We really liked it there. It's the 1 place my hubby is insisting on going back to. Enjoy

CP packages we have heard July and Aug. for when you can book, still not sure. You would think they would have the available now but NOOOO Disney likes to tease us.

As far Hacienda July/Aug is when they said they would open for adrs. There was a blog post about it on the Disney blog a few days ago.

We are doing MVMCP this night, and (hopefully) dinner at CRT before the party. I still have to wait till the 19th to call that one in!

I also went ahead and added Yak and Yeti at 1 pm for lunch on the 18th. Since we are eating 8 am and 8 pm breakfast and dinner, I figured a decent lunch would get us through. Plus my dad loves Yak and Yeti (he thinks its cool because he stayed at an inn in Nepal by the same name) and since he has been the one getting up at 5 to secure these ressies... we owe him!

When making ADRs this am, I noticed that if I entered the name of a restaurant, only one time was offered. However, if I didn't list the exact name of a restaurant but just entered a preferred location such as MK when the list of available restaurants appeared there were two-three available times to choose from. Anyone else having the same experience with ADRs?

How do you book a backup? Can you make reservations for two different restaurants at the same time of day??

Hope there aren't plans to close LC. I have read Disney is upscaling LC to signature dining and taking out tables which will make it even harder to book!

Slept late and was nervouse since I wanted an early adr for tusker house but got it!!!!!!!!!
