Which one did you sign them up for? My kids did the yacht club one last year and I was disappointed in that one. I read one place tha tOKW has one and I haven't found any other info about that one. I was going to give them one more shot.

The Albatross Treasure Cruise. I think it leaves from the Yacht Club (Bay Side Marina). Why were you disappointed with it? Isn't it the one that goes into World Showcase before it opens?

They've done the one at CBR. That one is more POTC themed.
Next they did the one at POR. They LOVED it! I think it may have been their favorite.
Last Spring they did the one at the GF. They really loved it, too.

We just figured they might as well do the only one left.

I've never heard of one at OKW. I guess it could be new???

Hi guys! Not sure if I wrote on this thread yet but if not.. Count me in! We are going to WDW Dec 7th-14th.. Splitting our stay half in Saratoga half in AKV.. Last two nights are Savanna view wahhoooo. It's our DS's first trip!He will only be 2 1/2 though. Here are my ressies..

Well we got there and no bandanas which wasn't that big of a deal to the kids so whatever. Then we are getting on the bus to go back to the resort and I ask the kids how lunch was and they say we didn't have lunch just a few gold fish crackers. Which they had forgotten so they had to sit on the beach for awhile while one of the staff went and got it for them. I did call and was told that lunch was no longer served for that cruise and that they had just stopped it a month before.

The kids had fun though. They did get to go to world showcase and they loved that part of it.

I read somewhere about the OKW one but I can not find it now. So who knows

I am the most excited Mom ever today!!! I was able to get CRT for my DD within 10 minutes of the time I was looking for!! I was able to score a Fantasmic package for my other DD for Mama Melrose today as well. But the Big one and the one I am most excited about is I was able to grad a reservation for the Pirate and Pals fireworks cruise for Christmas night!!!!! So the kids Christmas present is booked and paid for. They have no clue about the last one Santa will send them an invite in their stocking Christmas Morning in our villa.

DH was not as excited about it so I needed to share with you guys!!!!

It is certainly not worth $77.14 for two kids if they don't get the bandana and lunch. I might have to re-think this one. Thanks for letting me know!

Well maybe they brought lunch back, which would be great!! I know I went back to our hotel and talked to concierge and asked them if they could call or look it up for me. They read the description that was in their system and it said a light snack such as pretzels or crackers. I then asked if they could call the yacht club and triple check and they said the same thing. So maybe after a few complaints they went back to lunch. My kids did have a great time and talked about it for awhile so I didn't complain more then that because I still felt they were happy with it then I was happy with it.

I would maybe call and double check though, just to be safe!

Yay!! Just booked our ADR's this am. Was able to get CRT for the 19th for breakfast for 10 people! Mickey's Bar-B-Que for the 18th, Liberty tree for Christmas dinner, and the Hoop De Doo for the 26th. Only thing I couldn't get was the Garden Grill for the 21st if anyone is going to cancel an ADR for this date PM me please. Come on CP schedule!

So, for you guys with December experience - do more ADRs start to open up after people are able to book the Candelight Processional? I know I made one that we will cancel if we get what we want for the CP. I'm really hoping to get in to Le Celler on 12/10, but so far no luck.

In 2008 I had an ADR to Le Cellier and then they changed the menu and people posted bad reviews so I switched with Teppen Edo ane I immediatly regretted and it tried switching back and it was a no go! I would definatly check several times on the day the CP packages come out. I don't think Disney will release any more tables but I think people who booked LC just to have something until the CP packages are released will cancel and then spots will be open. So it will be a day of calling and checking online!

Yes, last year CP was two credits for all performances, all restaurants (still waiting for 2010, but expect it to be the same). For Fantasmic, "the Brown Derby is two table service options, while Mama Melrose's and Hollywood & Vine are one" (quoted here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/fantasmic.htm).

Just spoke with a very friendly and seemingly sharp minded CM trying to
add Fantasmic to reservations I have made on-line this week for 19-29 Dec trip. She said her computer wouldn't allow her to do anything until tomorrow which is 180 days! I thought today was the 180 day mark. Anyway, she said Disney was aware of "the glitch in the on-line system" that was allowing us to make reservations before 180 days prior to our checkin date and there were plans to update the beta version software to include verification of check in to make sure it was 180 days from first day check in although that would still allow reservations for up to 10 days of a confirmed reservation (the 190 days)
that it is now allowing without regard for verified check in! Looks like the Dec, 2010 folks got an added albeit unintentional perk that is going to soon change.
For me, 180 day is tomorrow so it won't matter!
Also, she said CP would be late July-- 90 days before the 1st CP in Nov.
At least, this is what I was just told tonight.

Were in for december 2010!!! At my home resort of SSR on the wait list for BLT and thinking of adding another wait list for AKL...something different and fun! Were going dec 2nd-10th!

Im wicked excited! I live in SLC born and raised in Connecticut and Im going with my cousins from florida and Maine! I have not seen them since July of 2008! Were soo wicked excited! going to be awesome!!!
