added an ADR for Sci-Fi Theater on 12/06 at 8:20 pm.

After reading about the sleigh rides here, think I will try to book one for the 7th.

Our MVMCP tickets are here! After much debate, DS is designated Goofy. That will be on 12/09.

Finally, we have quite a bit of time on the 12th before we have to leave, and we are considering the Gospel Brunch at The House of Blues. Anyone ever gone?

We are going mostly to WDW for my 50th... Also promised to go to Harry Potter WOrld at least one day... Staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge (stayed in 2002)

Want to do Candlelight Processional, Mickey's Christmas Party, Hoop Dee Doo (everytime!!) Also want to book around the extra magic hours...

YAY!! Booked Mickey's Very Merry for December 3rd, do we need additional entry into the park plus these tickets?

Want to book the dinner package for the Candlelight Processional but we really wanted to see who was there first... The bad thing is we are leaving on the 12th and Steven Curtis Chapman is there starting the 12th!!! I went to school and church with him in Paducah, Ky!! :)

Should we go ahead and book a couple of dinners where we want before the Candlelight entertainment is announced??

very cool idea! what fun! i've done the FE- group fish extender on the DIS podcast cruise - really a blast, makes the trip more fun with some surprises in tow!

The MVMCP ticket will get you into the park at 4pm. If you wish to go to a park prior to 4pm, then yes, you will need a regular ticket. However, if you aren't on a 'length of stay' type pass, then most folks do it this way to save money............
do something fun in the resorts that am- like schedule a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's, O'hana or 1900 Park Fare, maybe check out the resorts holiday decor- or go play mini golf or just relax at your hotel. Then head to the mK and arrive just before 4pm. they will let you in at 4pm on the MVMCP ticket. The party won't start until 7pm, so you will have a few 'free' hours to enjoy! :wizard:

i am going nuts too, the trip seems so far off, and yet, i am so obsessed with this trip, that i have barely spent anytime plannign for my girls only disneyland trip in september! My heart is just really with WDW, but DL might earn a special place in my heart too. We will see. Anyone have recs for dining at DL? I think we will try Napa Rose.

12/6 - Whispering Canyon -5pm

12/7 - Cape May Cafe - 9am

12/8 - Olivivia's 8:30pm ( after AK closes)

12/9 - Chef Mickey's 5pm then MVMCP

12/10 - Le Ceillar 8:20 pm

12/11 - 1900 Park Fare 8am

On 12/7 we will be doing T-Rex Cafe after Seaworld but not sure of the time yet.

In 2008 I had an ADR to Le Cellier and then they changed the menu and people posted bad reviews so I switched with Teppen Edo ane I immediatly regretted and it tried switching back and it was a no go! I would definatly check several times on the day the CP packages come out. I don't think Disney will release any more tables but I think people who booked LC just to have something until the CP packages are released will cancel and then spots will be open. So it will be a day of calling and checking online!

Good luck!

Thanks! I'll try. :goodvibes
I was planning to try and get a Le Cellier CP package, but I'm not so sure I want to go to the CP now. I watched a video. It looks like it would be amazing, but I don't think I want to use 2 dining credits on it. I think we are going to eat dinner at Narcoossee's or the Yachtsman instead. We attend so many church functions around Christmas time that I don't think we'll miss much if we don't get to do the CP - especially with 8 and 11 year old boys that are going to want to ride Mission Space and Test Track over and over... :)

I wanna go to the MVMCP! where can I make reservations for this?

I just made breakfast reservations for 12/5 at akershus and dinner reservations sunday night at biergarten!

OT - but how to post links like that? I never have been able to figure it out! :upsidedow

Copy the link you want to use.

In your "reply to Thread" box go to the post you want to post the link to and type the word or use an image like I have in my signature then highlight it.

Above where you type you should see a blue circle. Click it, in the "url" box delete the "http" and paste your link there.

Go to "preview post" and click it, you should then be able to click your link.

Then go about doing your post as usual.

We are going for our 3rd time :rotfl: in December. It is cheesy, but we enjoy it. The guy that does stuff with fire is amazing! I don't think you would have a problem seeing even if you weren't sitting up front, we have been in the middle and had no issues.

Just remember that they can and will cancel the show if the temperature dips below 55 degrees.

so, in your opinion, do you think it is better to use the 2 dining plan credits? also, guessing better to get a 5:15 seat in december for, hopefully, warmer temps? if the show gets cancelled, do they notify you or is there just a sign when you arrive telling you it's cancelled? do you get $ back if you've already paid in advance?

I like the Aloha show but my all time favorite is the Hoop-Dee-Doo! We love the food and admittedly the show is corny but we always laugh our butts off and have an absolutely magical time!!
