This thread is getting a little stale with the day counts...no offense to anyone:love:

So let's hear some plans. Maybe I have forgotten something and can pick up ideas from your plans. So her is mine..fo me, hubby(who will follow any plan with little or no feedback) and our only child, dd 7 going on 12...:headache: But somehow I feel she will be all princess for these 9 days!

Sunday 12/7 We leave Chicago and head to the great MCO. We will travel via ME to the Poly. Are plane is to arrive at 2:30ish. I plan to get checked in and then we will head to MK, but only for a short hello because after 7 will be for MVMCP party guest only. We have an ADR at O'Hana and will have just enough time to head to the beach after dinner to se the MVMCP fireworks from the Poly beach. Then back to our room, where hopefully our luggage will be awaiting to be unpacked and then off to bed to get a good night sleep to start our first official day.

Maybe we'll see you at the MK - we'll be out of there and headin' back to AKL (and Boma!! :thumbsup2 ) by 4:30 ...

Monday 12/8- Most likely MK day . Dinner at Chef Mickey's

Us, too ... ... but it's our getaway day
:sad1: We'll probably be at MK or Epcot ...

Sun 12/14 DHS today. We have a 4pm Mama Melrose Fantasmic package. So we will be here most of the day and evening. Got to see those Osborn lights.

Did that our last trip!! Try not to eat tooooo much ... :rotfl:

Mon 12/15- Breakfast at O'Hana's. This has becmore our leaving tradition. after breakfast, we pack, store our luggage, go play at MK and then hit ME for our trip back to MCO. Oh boo hoo. we have to go. :sad2:

Yea - but you have one more day than us!! :upsidedow

So i know there is no AK in those plans. Not our thing, but not ruling it out. While I like to have an outline of a plan. I am not too big a every day and minuted planned perfectly. This is my vacation. I want to r-e-l-a-x some. We'll hit DTD too. It's on the todo list.

So please let me see what you all got going on?

Looks good - have you checked the anticipated "crowd levels" for each day/park?

Ok, so I will ONLY admit this to you. I started packing..... 59 days out!:rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
It was summer stuff, and I had to put it somewhere, so why not the suitcase?? Lordy knows I will take it out and wash it all up and iron it all and re pack it. Just because taking care of 2 toddlers isn't enough daily. lol! Oh my... oh my... 59 days...

General outline of our trip (with details in the PTR ...:rolleyes1 )

Dec 6: fly out of Atlantic City to MCO, arriving around 3:30 - ME to AKL - with a dinner ADR at Chef Mickey's ... then jump on the monorail and tour the resorts until we're ready for some zzzzzz ...

Dec 7: up early for the :welcome: at MK ("Tradition!!") - with lunch at CRT ... out of there by 4:30 (as the MVMCP crowd arrives) - with dinner at Boma! Boma! Boma! and fun stuff at the AKL ...
:yay:

Dec 8: up early again - cuz we want to catch the first Soarin' flight of the day (and the frst for our DD!! :3dglasses ) Focus on The Land and Imagination Pavilions, then the "right" side of WS until - lunch at the Coral Reef ... with a little fun at the Living Seas afterwards ... Afternoon break - then back to Epcot for dinner at a CS and wandering the world ...

Dec 9: sleep in - maybe hit DTD or just hang out at AKL most of the day - dinner at 1900 Park Faire followed by MVMCP ... :woohoo: :santa:

Dec 10: sleep in again - hang out at AKL - and head over to DHS in the late afetrnoon for the Osborne Lights and (maybe) Fantasmic!

Dec 11: breakfast at Akershus with the princesses ... "left side" of FW (Test Track, Universe of Energy, Innoventions?) and WS ... Afternoon break ... CP Dinner Package at Tappan EDO ...

Dec 12: Animal Kingdom - with lunch at Flame Tree BBQ ... and dinner at Boma! Boma! Boma! (again!!!) ...

Dec 13: getaway day - but they keep changing our flight time (right now it's 9:30 p.m. - originally it was 7:30 ... then 3:30 ... then 5:30 ... :headache: ) Probably spend some of the day at MK or Epcot, and the rest relaxing at AKL ...

overnight Dec 13/14: start planning the next trip to WDW while I sleep ... :lmao:

Ok, so I will ONLY admit this to you. I started packing..... 59 days out!:rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
It was summer stuff, and I had to put it somewhere, so why not the suitcase?? Lordy knows I will take it out and wash it all up and iron it all and re pack it. Just because taking care of 2 toddlers isn't enough daily. lol! Oh my... oh my... 59 days...

Actually - I was thinking of doing the same ... :thumbsup2 ...

But I just can't!! :rotfl2:

OK, here is our plan. I might as well share with someone who cares since my DH thinks I have become a little obsessed. Between deciding on what to eat because of the food thread and now wanting to take pictures of everything we eat in Dec, he thinks I'm nuts.

Here we go...

12/6 Arrive MCO about 1:30pm. Wait in the unexpected short line to get our rental car. Stop at the grocery for a few supplies then head to Orange Lake to check in. Now, I can't decide if we should go to DTD to eat at TRex for dinner or do the Monorail tour of the resorts and find somewhere to eat while touring. We need to eat at TRex before the week is out, maybe on 12/7.

12/7 AK Day - lunch at Flame Tree BBQ, not sure about dinner. May leave and go to TRex if we didn't on 12/6. This may be a silly ? but, does DTD close earlier on Sunday?:confused3

12/8 HS - Arrive early to ride or Fastpass RNRC, TOT, and Toy Story. Light lunch somewhere and early dinner ADR 4:05pm at Sci Fi. Stay for Fantasmic show. I love it!!:woohoo: See Osborne Lights, of course.

Hi- Going down Dec 13-21. Does anyone know what time it starts to get dark around then? Also, how long does Fantasmic last? Would we have time to see Fantasmic then walk around DHS to see the lights?
First time going down and I have questions that I am sure you veterans could answere!
Thanks
R/
You will have TIME after Fantasmic to see the lights...but the crowds are horrendous. Everyone heads over to see the lights when Fantasmic lets out. My advice? Pick one night to see Fantasmic, and another night to see the lights during Fantasmic. You'll save yourself a ton of aggravation.

I think it gets dark around 5:30 or so...but I'm not certain. My memory fails me.

OOPS, wasn't finished.

12/9 Need to find time to visit some family about an hour away from WDW. Maybe this morning or 12/12. I don't know if I want to waste our last full day visiting someone other than Mickey so we will probably meet for lunch today. We need to be back by 4pm for MVMCP that night. Will be a late evening for the kids.

12/10 A late start to MK. Need to sleep a little after the party last night.

12/11 Epcot - Ride TT and Soarin. DS is finally tall enough to ride these. Can't wait to ride everything as a family and not take turns. Find lunch somewhere and make our way to WS. Package CP dinner ADR's at San Angel then the late CP. Anyone know if we will have enough time to get a good spot for Illuminations after CP? Another long day.

12/12 - 10:20am ADR at Chef Mickey's then hit whatever we missed or want to do again. Probably go to DTD. Kind of a tradition to end our trip.

12/13 - check out and spend some more time at a park before heading to the airport at 3pm. Flight home is at 5:30pm.:sad2:

WOW, the week sure went by fast! Back to life and getting ready for Christmas.:santa:

I need to find some pool time. Maybe, it won't be that hot for the pool. I would be happy with 75 everyday.

We are taking our first family Disney trip in December-staying at All Star Sports
Here's our plans so far:
S 12/14 check-in and head to HS
M 12/15 MK -lunch ADR at Crystal Palace
T 12/16 MK - dinner ADR for Aloha dinner show- I think I'm going to cancel this though-haven't heard too many good things
W 12/17 Epcot -dinner ADR at Akershus
Th 12/18 Epcot- lunch ADR at Coral Reef
F 12/19 check-out/ AK

My kids (6 and 3) don't know yet and we are planning on giving them an early Christmas gift on Thanksgiving (we usually put up the tree that day). I hope I can last that long! I'm about to burst!

What time are your lunch ressies at Coral Reef for on the 18th? I ask because we will be a party of 13 there at 11:50 that same day! My niece is getting a diver banner and the special menu as a graduation celebration. We will be doing Akershus for dinner on the 18t as well so i miss you by one day on that one!

We are headed down for our honeymoon Nov. 28 - Dec. 6. It's a bit of a delayed honeymoon as we were married on Sep. 12 but for work and family reasons couldn't get away right away.

As a countdown from the wedding to the honeymoon I've been leaving DH a poem including how many days to our trip and a fact sheet on a different attraction at WDW. On special days (his birthday, Columbus Day, etc.) throughout I've been leaving gifts as well that I bought on Disney Shopping, one for every day we'll be away, so 9 in total. Most of them are t-shirts with different Disney characters on them that I got for under $5 a piece for us to wear while we're there. Seriously I bought 18 gifts, most of which were t-shirts, on Disney Shopping for under $100, much better than what we'd spend in the parks on souvenirs.

So he never knows when he's going to get a gift but he always gets at least a little poem and a fact sheet that I made up. It's been fun planning and it definitely has made him more excited for the trip. Every day he comes home from work he asks if Mickey came today.

As for our plans:

Nov. 28 - arrive at MCO around noon and hop ME to POR to check in. Then head to MK for the afternoon / evening.

Nov. 29 - Animal Kingdom all day with lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. Leave AK for BW and ADR at Flying Fish at 7:30. Hopefully get done with Dinner in time to walk over to Epcot for Illuminations.

Nov. 30 - Epcot in the morning then to BW for Giants Football at ESPN Zone and lunch. Evening at Epcot.

Dec. 1 - Early breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Then to Epcot again with Candlelight Processional ADR for dinner at Rose & Crown and 2nd showing of CP.

Dec. 2 - HS for the day then over to Epcot again for Dinner ADR at Le Cellier.

Dec. 3 - HS again with lunch ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe, stay for Fantasmic and Osborne lights.

Dec. 4 - MK all day, stay for MVMCP.

Dec. 5 - Park hop / DTD to hit things we missed or want to do again. Dinner ADR at Teppan Edo.

Dec. 6 - AK and DTD. ME to MCO at 3:00 for flight home at 5:30 :guilty:

Home to get ready for our first married Christmas together and plan our next trip!

I lurked on your wedding report and can't believe your disneymoon is finally here! Your plans sound wonderful...hope you and DH have a wonderful time!!! Maybe we'll see you there!!:flower3:

Thank you! Let me know if you are in any of the same places when we are.

50 days! woo hoo!

7 more thursdays!

1200 hours!!! (that sounds waaaaaay closer!)

So...sometimes life gets really crazy busy and you don't really notice how quickly time is going...until I realized I only have 17 school days left at my current student teaching placement before the quarter is over and I move on to the next place. I thought to myself, huh, wonder how many days until Christmas at Disney? I'M DOWN TO 70 DAYS!!!!! I can't freaking believe it! (Which means it's a mere 65 days until I graduate...eek!) And it's going to FLY by. Ohy. By the time I leave, I will have a new baby in the family (uncle/aunt are having a baby girl due 12/5) and be a college graduate. :woohoo:
