Very uncertain with change in plans

Have you been to LC? We love it more than CC. We consider it neither an afterthought or a joke. We will literally spend the whole day at LC, the beach and water are so much better than at CC. And we have probably been to CC 30+ times and LC only 4 times.
I know there are a lot of people who do, and that is great! From what I have seen on You Tube is where that came from. If proven incorrectly at some point, I will make sure and let everyone know.

I would suggest not forming strong opinions until you check it out yourself. While there are parts of it I do not vibe with, I find myself loving it more and more each visit.

I wonder if LC is having a part as well with all these discounts. Not only are the plethora of changes to the Wish class ships from the Dream class, but a second island for Disney that to me is just an afterthought and a complete joke compared to CC.
I did not read the whole thread so I apologize if it has been mentioned already but have you sailed DCL yet or been to Lookout Cay? Just curious as you have very strong opinion on LC. I will be honest I did not like the Wish layout when I first sailed on her MV but have grown to really like the new ships (been on Wish, Treasure and Destiny). I think because they were so different from the other ships I did not appreciate them. Once I sailed them I really started to love them for what they were and did not compare them anymore to the other ships.

We sailed the Destiny in January and it was our first time to Lookout Cay. I kept an open mind. It was very nice. Yes, very different than Castaway Cay but then again I have been to CC over 40 times so I know it inside and out. LC was a new experience. We had a cool, windy day and we had to bundle up but I could see how beautiful the island was. While I still enjoy CC better (although that may change with future trips to LC) I would not write it off just because of things you read. Experience it for yourself before you decide. I did not feel at all that it was an afterthought or a joke. Yes, it different but still beautiful. Its just more into the Bahamian culture than CC but I think Disney had to that in order to appease the Bahamian government.

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions but if you have not visited yet, and you are basing your view on others' comments....try to hold off judgement until you experience it yourself.

Just checked and there is a VGT on the Destiny for a 5 night cruise - 4/25. For about the same price as the VGT for the 5 night in the Fantasy on 4/26.

Hard to believe there is already guarantee rates on the Destiny. It has only been sailing a few months.
I feel like there's too many new ships in such a short period of time. Remember the excitement over the building of the Dream?
People were paying thousands of dollars to visit the shipyard as an excursion on the European cruises. We were all hanging onto every little bit of info that Disney fed us. The waiting was agony.
Now, we're like, oh wow- another ship. (As she enters service.)
Yet, I still want them to build the next 2 they have planned because they're smaller, hopefully similar in size to the Magic & Wonder.
