I noticed you mentioned weather and wanted to tell you it can be iffy in December and to pack for all kinds of weather. It can be 80 dgrees one day and 30 the next. When we went in Dec 2006, it was cold all week. It started out just cold, then got colder as the week went on and I was in several layer with a scarf and gloves on our last full day. Then in Dec 2007, it was much nicer and I wore short sleeves and capris during the day and a lightweight jacket and jeans with the short sleeve shirt in the evenings.

I agree winter is a mixed bag; we went in Feb 2005 and Jan 2007. I can clearly remember standing on main street debating whether or not to buy my kids pants for spectromagic ! We were staying at ASM and no wanted to take 45 minutes and go back to the hotel ( this was just before presidents day in 2005!), In the end we sucked up and dealt with the cold! Last trip ( end of Jan 07) it was perfect weather warm about 81 everyday! So for DEC this year I have decided that we will take a variety of pants, carpi's and shorts maybe hats and gloves just in case! I have alreafdy decied to ups some of our stuff home from wdw anyway; I figure it is cheapere then paying the airline fees!

We will be there from December 21 - 27. Were staying at Pop Century.

12/13-12/17 Only 4 nights, but only DH and me. First time away from the kids in forever. 1st night - not sure, whatever ends up with the best AP rate. 12/14 - 17 SSR (2nd dvc trip!) Eating at Cali Grill on 12/15 and planning on MVMCP on 12/16.

My mom is buying a new vehicle this weekend and we are planning on renting a small u-haul trailer to hitch on the back, so we don't have to worry when we over pack, and I usually do. In Dec 2007, somehow in helping DH and mom pack, I forgot to pack a few of my shirts, so I had to wear a couple of them more than once, I won't do that again. We rented a Mini-van in Dec 2006 and it was jam packed full at the end of the trip and DH could barely see out the back window. This will be our longest trip yet and I know I will need everything out of my closet.

WOW!!! Are you staying onsite the whole time? Where are you staying? What a cool thing to spend a whole month there!!!! Have you planned out your time there?? You will have to keep us posted!!

I am soooo jealous!! LOL.
Thats is so great. I would love to be able to go that long. I agree with the other writer, give us details. Where are you staying? Where are you dining? Who is going? Any special plans?
I would love to have a whole month to plan for.

We will be there Dec 5-13th staying at Pop Century. This is the fist time we have done 2 trips in the same year.... Doing MVMCP on Dec 7th...

Just when I thought everything was planned to perfection...I received a email from AirTrans this morning informing me that my 8am flight out of Detroit is now at 2pm!!!

This totally ruins my first day plans of dinner at Sci Fi and Fantasmic. So now what do I do?? I can either keep the new flight time...cancel my afternoon evening plans at DHS and just relax at AKL instead.

..or I can add another night to our trip? (which would probably not be so bad - we had planned to stay a night in Detroit anyways in order to catch the early flight..now we can drive straight to the airport instead)

I'd been interested to hear what everyone thinks.
