Official December 2008
I'm in a holding pattern now too. I've now been planning this trip since we returned from our June 2007 trip. Unfortunately my soldier husband is off to Afghanistan in a fortnight so i will be waiting with baited breath for him to return. This is probably why my focus is on the holiday even more than usual!! I've decided that this is going to be our best trip yet!!!!
Tell your husband, THANK YOU FOR HIS SERVICE!!! AND GODSPEED! What a great way to celebrate his return! You all will be in our prayers and we will keep you company while he is gone.

Your husband is in our prayers. Dh is Air Force, as well as our son in law. Thankfully he hasn't deployed since 2002.

Give him a big THANK YOU from NC

I think that sounds like a great plan!! As you'll have an extra 4 days to wait - maybe we could sneak you into our room!!!!!

We went to 1900 Park Fare last yr for dinner and loved it! We were nervous because we had read varying reviews about the food. We thought it was one of the best buffets we at ate. The characters are sooo interactive, especially the stepsisters and the stepmother. We had an awesome time.

We always do CP, as I am a pooh lover and so is my daughter.

This time we are trying chef mickey's as we havent been there in a long time.

ENJOY!!!

Thanks for the review of 1900 PF. That's good to hear. We are also Pooh lovers and I'm tempted to also go to CP. We've been there in the past. But we're planning our character meal on our last morning at the resort when we don't plan on going to a park. We like to stick to one character meal.

We were last at Chef Mickey's in 2004 and we loved it.

We'll be at AKL, too - from the 6th to 13th ... (guess you'll beat us into the pool ... :) :) )

We'll meet you by the slide!!!! Although - i'm not sure how much swimming we'll do - i haven't quite figured out the temperatures yet. It will be definately hotter than England in December but i'm not sure if it will be swimming hot?????

I didn't see our name on the list, so I thought I'd add it. :santa:

We are headed to WDW on Dec 6 and will be Grand Gathering-ing until the 10th. THEN, we will have a small family va-ca until the 13th. :cool1:

I think we will be doing the MVMCP on Friday the 12th...not confirmed yet though. And definitely not announced to the kiddos...just in case. ;)

Blessings!!!

I noticed you mentioned weather and wanted to tell you it can be iffy in December and to pack for all kinds of weather. It can be 80 dgrees one day and 30 the next. When we went in Dec 2006, it was cold all week. It started out just cold, then got colder as the week went on and I was in several layer with a scarf and gloves on our last full day. Then in Dec 2007, it was much nicer and I wore short sleeves and capris during the day and a lightweight jacket and jeans with the short sleeve shirt in the evenings.
