We plan on going to Epcot and AK the same days!!

But - we'll probably have ridden Soarin' 2 or 3 times by the time you arrive at Epcot ... (at least ...) Our plan is to do the "right" side of Epcot that day - so if you're in the UK and happen to see a tall, thin guy with a mustache and glasses fawning over Mary Poppins - say "hello" ...

At the AK, around lunch time you'll be able to find us at Flame Tree BBQ swimming in sauce ...

That's my problem too...I can fly in the morning but not non-stop. I just don't want the hassle of changing planes. I'll let you guys know how I make out changing to the day before. It really makes the most sense, provided I can get a room at AKL for the extra night.


Yup Joel that's exactly what my kid's response was. (No offense to anyone from Motor City!!) Hopefully I can add another night on the start of our AKL stay and arrive on the 6th.

We're arriving at the AKL on Dec 6th (too? ...) - with dinner at Chef Mickey's followed by a tour of the monorail resorts ... So that might be a little more incentive (or disincentive ... ) to get to WDW a day early ...

Add us to the list for 12/26 - 01/03 - We are actually leaving 12/25 - 01/04 but I like to stay at an airport hotel the last night and the first night to reduce stress so we actually begin the great Christmas Surprise on Christmas Day! We dont have a park plan other than MGM on NYE (less crowded than MK?) - We do have an extensive dining plan since I signed us up for the deluxe - Im hoping that will help guide which park on which day but Im really trying to leave it open - go with the flow - which is a huge leap for me. I look forward to reading everyone elses December plans - Whip

Since I already have ADRs made for CM and Boma later in the week, I think it might just be a quick bite at Mara (we don't have DDP for the extra night's ressie) and then explore the resort. I hope to catch the story-telling at the fire, and the kids parade through the lobby.

ITA!! Time does seem to be going pretty quickly. I hoped it would so I can get done with these summer classes. Only 3 weeks left then I can concentrate on Disney stuff.

It's so funny -- we had hoped to get to Hawaii for our anniversary, but the plane tix were just too expensive. And here you are coming all that way to go to Disney World!

(It's kind of nice, though, since whenever I add anything to our trip, my husband says, "Is it still cheaper than going to Hawaii?" I say, "Yup!" and he says, "Okay!")

My mom got a new to her minivan this weekend and I am ready to try it out.

We do have a trip to Destin planned for Labor Day weekend, but that isn't the same.
