Official Dancing With the Stars: Spring 2016

I feel like Mischa's agent sat down and had a talk with her and that's what caused her sudden attitude change tonight. :rolleyes1 There doesn't seem anything natural about her tonight.
Or Peter Galagher did. He just happened to pop up it of no where and was quoted as saying how proud of her he was, for coming back and showing up.

I thought that same thing considering Derek and Mark's friendship, years of training together etc and I was sad when Derek didn't come out to dance but I still enjoyed the dance!
I think Derek isn't mad he is missing this season, mostly because Nyle is making most of us forget about all the other males on the show lol,
Had a crazy 10 days so catching up on shows and the DIS~saw a little of tonights show, Wanye and Nyle killing it. Loved the end of the show :rolleyes1

Ok, when Von came out I told my husband "now that is a beautiful man". The audience reaction agreed with me. Yeah, I'm tactful that way. But I think they had the lowest scores aside from Mischa? Didn't catch the leaderboard.

Paige and Mark were great! She went into fight mode though, a little hunched, instead of dance mode. Lots of hunching tonight.

Nyle is going to be hard to beat. I'm changing my tune. Last week I thought Wanya had it in the bag.

Sadly we will miss Disney week live. Have to go on a cruise in Europe. :yay:

Well, Diana, there are some things worth missing the live show for -- even Disney week!! :thumbsup2

I'm loving Nyle; Wanya is my other favorite!

Glad to see Mark back on the dance floor.

Did anyone notice how emotional Peta was after their dance? Even moments after Tom announced they were "safe", the camera caught a shot of Peta where she looked so sad.

I wonder if there trouble in paradise

I'm hoping for a Nyle, Paige and Wanya finale. I like all three and wouldn't mind any of them winning. I agreed with most of Len's comments, he was just trying to help them improve, it's too bad the audience had to keep booing him. I also like that out of the top three dancers, none of them is a ringer. :cool1::dancer::banana:

I also agreed with Len most of the time. Mark and Paige's dance looked more like contemporary or a free style. It seems like Len gets booed before he even finishes his critique. People should wait until he finishes so his overall viewpoint can be heard. He usually starts with the flaws and finishes up with positive.

I LOVED than Len said if they want to boo him, to do it right - cracked me up.

I CRIED all through Josi's performance.

yep, however, (and who am I to critique Len, lol) if maybe he starts his comments with a positive instead of BAM~"You lost your frame (with a scowl) etc. Positive reinforcement Len, helps to encourage working on the negatives.

That was Julianne's judging style, positives first, then things that needed work. I thought she was really good as a judge. It's pretty negative this year with Len back. Maybe he's grumpy from all the flying. When they were nice to Mischa, I knew she was a goner. Sad for Artem, though I'm sure he wasn't having a good time.

Peta always looks super anxious at eliminations. She usually looks happy after though.

I think she is putting everything she has into working with Nyle and it may be wiping her out a bit. I think Sharna would be a great source of advice as she has had to teach using out of the box techniques.

I think the scores, in general, are all pretty low. Maybe there's no "superstar" this year, but I think we've only seen one "9" and only a few "8"'s.

I love Wanya! He is just a joy to watch and he seems so happy to be there. I am rooting for him and hope he wins. And I would like Jodie to come in second :)

But that's how I remember it being in the early seasons~a 9 was rarely given under week 5 no matter how good the dance. That said the complexity of the dances were less in early weeks than they are now as well.
