Did anyone else see the story that Alfonso injured his back during Wednesday's rehearsal? They cut the rehearsal short, and he didn't rehearse at all on Thursday because he was having a MRI at the hospital. The article said he was having trouble walking.

I really hope he will be okay and that he doesn't have to quit the competition.

Oh man, that's a shame. He's been such a bright light this season. Hope he's okay. Their group dance was insane last week. And I loved their pre-bit, when they were both adding their ages versus Alfonso's. Cute.

I couldn't watch Lea's expressions for one more minute. I thought her dancing was much better earlier in the season. She seemed so tentative to me in the last two, I didn't get the judges saying her confidence was back.

I would be pleased with a Bethany or Alfonso win. Bethany has proven that she can do anything.

I think she began to buy into the cougar role and was paying too much attention to her partner.

I don't know- I think it is a real horse race between Janel, Bethany, and Sadie. Any one of them could take it all, IMO. All have big fan bases, and all 3 of their pros are very popular, too. Talent-wise, they are also very, very close.

That's true. I think if it came down to those three, Val might pull ahead. Mark always screws things up for his partner by throwing around his bad attitude in the clips and during judge's remarks. Derek has too many wins, he doesn't need another one. But, Val deserves a win this season for his killer choreography and overall good-guy status.

Of course, all this is considering Alfonso is out of the game due to injury. We shall see.

I was at our church fair today. Lea and Artem's song came on.

As far as Alfonso--I will believe it when I see it.
Ever since Candace had a huge ankle boo boo and kept posting she was questionable, then danced like nothing was wrong--I became convinced that these injuries are....dramatized to be something more than they are.

Alfonso getting an MRI could merely be a liability preventative so that he can be cleared to dance. For all we know the doctor could believe that he is fine, but this is just to really make sure.

I hope he is able to dance and I don't intend to make light of an injury--but I remain skeptical since Candace's ankle drama unfolded when I had my own broken ankle. The episode had her just move her upper body during the intro and they saved her routine for last. I was quite irritated to be taken on the drama train when her ankle showed no sign of injury.

.....I'm not so sure - this morning on ABC news, they highlighted Alphonso's presence on DWTS and they keyed in on his back injury....I really hope it's not so serious.....

I hope he is okay.

My tinfoil meter indicates we won't know until the last possible second which means he will dance his first number last. Unless they do some goofy numbering and other teams get their second dance in before all teams get their first. But either way--tinfoil fortune show Alfonso dance at latest possible opportunity.


But if he can't dance--I hope they don't bring Lea back. I would rather watch Alfonso sit in a chair and tap his toes for 2 minutes.

Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Alfonzo will likely dance tonight. He was seen at rehearsal on stage this afternoon dancing.
