Official Dancing With the Stars: Season 19

GMA has announced the "stars" with their pro dancer partners.


The Stars with their Pro Dancers (listed second):

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson
Lookout for the “Carlton Dance”! Ribeiro, best known for his role as the memorable Carlton Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” will dance with pro Witney Carson. Ribeiro’s hilarious dance moves on the hit TV series gained a cult following among '90s kids.

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas
The 17-year-old appears in A&E’s reality show, “Duck Dynasty,” alongside family patriarch Phil Robertson and the rest of camouflage-wearing clan. The daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson will trade duck calls for dancing shoes and sequins, pairing up with pro Mark Ballas this season.

Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater
Waltrip is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500, NASCAR’s crown jewel event. He’s one of only ten multi-time winners, and went on to become a NASCAR broadcaster. Now, he will compete on "DWTS" with Emma Slater.

Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe
The season would not be complete without an Olympian! Track and Field star, Lolo Jones, follows in the footsteps of Sochi Olympic ice dancing duo, Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Shawn Johnson, Apollo Anton Ono, and more. She’s paired up with newbie pro Keo Motsepe.

Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker
Best known as Aaron Samuels in “Mean Girls,” actor Jonathan Bennett will bring his “fetch” dance moves to the ballroom with new pro partner Allison Holker. The American professional dancer, 26, joins the "DWTS" cast this season.

Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev
The actress, best known for her role as the various incarnations of Lorraine McFly in the “Back to the Future” franchise, will partner up with new pro Artem Chigvintsev.

Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Cheryl Burke
The “General Hospital” heartthrob and iconic Calvin Klein underwear model, Antonio Sabato Jr., takes to the dance floor with two-time mirrorball champ Cheryl Burke.

Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff
The six-time World Ultimate Fighting Champion and Hall of Famer, known by his moniker, “Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture,” will battle for the mirrorball trophy with pro Karina Smirnoff.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy
The “Pretty Little Liars” star, who played “Mona” on the hit ABC Family TV series, will tango with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd
The Grammy award-winning comedian, part of the legendary comedy team Cheech & Chong, makes up a new “Dancing” duo now, with pro Peta Murgatroyd.

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough
The YouTube beauty guru and social media trendsetter is paired up with pro dancer Derek Hough, the only five-time champion in the history of "DWTS."

Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani
The celebrated designer, known for her over the top designs, has rocked the fashion world since the 1960s, and will bring her colorful personality and pizazz to the dance floor this season with pro veteran Tony Dovolani.

Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess
The celebrated talk show host and best-selling author will tango with pro Sharna Burgess.


As we were told earlier by Maks, he has retired from DWTS after his win with Meryl. He knew all along for 18 seasons that he had the potential to win -- IF he had been given a good partner, like Derek . He has decided to leave on finally having a big win.

Also no Tristan this season. And no Henry.
We have 3 newbie pro dancers.

Count me in! They said on GMA, there would be more guest judges this year since Len won't be there all season. Also the switch up is back. There was something else they said, I'd have to go back and rewatch the video.

Looks like Julianne is definitely the new judge. GMA tweeted they have a big announcement about the new DWTS judge tomorrow and Julianne just tweeted that she is on her way to GMA for an announcement tomorrow. Not too hard to connect the dots there.

I was never sold on a permanent 4th judge anyway, I think the 3 they have are plenty but she is just a terrible choice. Think I am out for this season.

There is always the Mute button on the remote. You can get a lot of work done during the show between commercials & not listening to the judges.

I am going to have to TIVO this so I can fast forward through Julianne. I don't see how she can give a score each week to her brother and to a long time friend (Mark) and have it be fair.

Depending on who the stars are, I might not even bother to watch this season (and I have watch every other season).

I am extremely disppointed in the Julianne news. I liked her very much when she was a dancer, but back when she started it was also before the Hough overload (and I do actually enjoy Mark, because he does tend to get voted out early sometimes, so I don't get as sick of him as Derek).

Julianne's two turns as a guest judge very much turned me off of her. I've been a loyal viewer since season 3, and as much as I love Val, Karina, and Emma, and am looking forward to Artem and Keo...I just don't know about this season. Whether I watch or not will heavily depend on the celebrities when they are announced.

This Julianne hire may very well be when DWTS jumped the shark.
